Advanced Automotive is a full-service auto repair shop located on Del Rio Road. Advanced Automotive is known for honest assessments and superior service. Brent Colwell, owner/technician, has been in the auto repair business for over 37 years. He was GM factory trained, Master Chevrolet technician and ASE certified for many years.
We will take the time to explain what needs to be done and why, so you can make an informed decision about your vehicle's maintenance and repair. We also offer an email reminder service for scheduled maintenance as well as an interactive owner auto site for you to review past repairs and maintenance.
Have trusted this repair shop since I have been able to drive. Family has been going here since the mid 90's. One of the few honest mechanics left around, never overcharges, always honest with what needs to be done. I don't know what happened to the one person that was upset, but I have never experienced something like that.

I had taken my car to a dealer in the high desert, to troubleshoot a moaning noise coming from the front end of my 2004 Toyota Corolla recently purchased. The dealer told me I needed a auto transmission costing above $4,000 dollars, and new struts going for $1500.
The car has only 80K miles on it so I thought that was odd. I took it to Brent to troubleshoot, he had it a half a day, and he told me I needed new tires and a belt for the alternator. I had him replace the belt.

Great place to take your car. Brent and his staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They call and let you know the problem and how much it will cost before they do anything. I appreciate that about them. After you pick up your car, and something goes wrong they tell you to bring it back. They honor the service 100%.

I have been dealing with the same Chevy dealer in Temecula for 30 plus years. Finally had enough!!! Called Scott at Precision who is the best brake/alignment in the valley. He recommend Brent at Advanced. Where have I been? Brent and crew are fast, fair, and honest. No up sell, no smoke and mirrors. Just plain honest.

I have been coming to Brent for all my automotive needs since I started driving at 16. In the almost 15 years of coming to him, I have been extremely happy with his service. No matter what I go in for, he keeps me updated on the state of my cars, letting me know when something will be needing service soon. He never tries to add unnecessary repairs or services, and is flexible with getting things done. I have tried other mechanics but I always come back to Brent's Advanced Automotive.

My Mom was getting charged a lot by another mechanic. So when her next car issue came up, I googled other mechanics in the area and on a whim I went w/ Advanced Automotive. Brent gave her a quote and sure enough... it was $250 LESS than the previous guy! She only goes there now. So I took my car in the other day after work unannounced at 7:45 a.m. Brent said that appointment are the way to go BUT he accepted my repair request and was able to get it done and at a good price. Great service and honest! I live 40 miles from them and I would not have been able to get home w/o my car being fixed. I highly

I was referred to Brent from Steve at Dyno-Trans. Brent did a free check engine light scan, diagnosed it and saved me hundreds from the dealer. He didn't even push for the job. He told me it wasn't serious, and just bring it by when I was ready. These two guys are the most honest, trustworthy and friendliest auto mechanics around. Thank you so much Brent.
