D is a native of Alexandria, VA and holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University. He attended the Medical College of Virginia and received his M.D. in 1988. He completed a transitional internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.
An eye exam at our Virginia Beach office involves a series of tests to evaluate your overall vision. Dr. Delianides may use a variety of instruments, directly shine bright lights in your eyes, and ask you to look through a variety of lenses. Each test evaluates a different aspect of your vision and eye health during an eye examination.
If you have diabetes, you may not know that it can cause damage to your eyes. Most people who have diabetes are unaware of any damage to their eyes until they visit the eye doctor. Diabetes can damage your retina's small blood vessels, located in the back of your eye. This condition is called diabetic retinopathy, which is a leading cause of vision impairment in adults.
Do you suffer from nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism? Do you find glasses or contacts cumbersome or uncomfortable, and wish you could reduce their prescription or discard them? If you answered "YES" to either of these questions, you may be a good candidate for LASIK or other vision corrective surgery.

Atlantic Eye Consultants is one of the best in Virginia Beach or actually in the Hampto Roads. Doctor Aris is incredible qualify as an eye doctor. He also perform surgery beside the visits that are in the office. I been going there for the last 20 years. Also my whole family been going there . My mother had her cataract surgery there and she was very happy that can have vision 20×20 again. The crew that work there and help doctor Aris are impeccable and loving girls. I wanna give shout out to Beth that help me for the second time with my new glasses and she is amazing human being. Never says no

I’ve been going to Dr. D’s office for years. I’ve never had an issue getting my contacts fitted until the last few years when I became of a “certain age.” LOL This past year’s fitting was even more challenging, but Nikki was awesome. She never gave up hope or PATIENCE that we would find a good fit. I’ve got to wear contacts at work teaching with a mask on, so finding the right ones before school starts again was crucial. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Nikki. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Although there is sometimes a little bit of a wait, Dr. Deliniades and the staff at Atlantic Eye Consultants make it worth while. In particular, Nikki is super friendly and good at what she does. She takes time to ensure that you’re comfortable and explains the various aspects of the appointment in a way that you can understand. The office environment is clean, professional and contributes to an overall positive experience!

Bethany the optician has a great selection of glasses and is the best at helping you select the perfect frame for your prescription and face. I just had cataract surgery and had to go through that and then a whole new prescription for glasses. Everyone was really helpful and patient through the whole process. They were clear on what insurance covered and helped with any questions I had. The new glasses were in the next week as promised and were perfect. No changes needed at all. I will continue to go back here as everyone is very nice and takes care of their patients.

So today I had my very first appointment with this office. I walk in and see there are 2 windows not sure which one to go to since I forgot which doctor I was seeing. I made my appointment yesterday. So I'm standing in the front of the receptionist window to the right, the lady to my left makes eye contact with me standing in front of the right window and looks away, the lady behind the right window, all I could see was the top of her head and her twirling her hair with her finger. Have the upmost confidence in Dr. Delianides and his staff. He provides very thorough diabetes eye exams for my husband and have squeezed us in at a moments notice when my husband scratched his cornea. He doesn’t do pain well so thank you Dr. D for fixing him up quick. And Bethany is our girl for glasses. It’s a one stop shop. The glasses that I buy from there are good quality frames that are always fashionable.
