Arcadia is by far the WORST apartment complex in Kalamazoo. My girl friend has been living with MOLD in her apartment for two months. Still has to pay the full amount for rent and has not gives another place to stay. They came once painted over it and it grew back. She has major health issues. To put the cherry on the top something breaks every other day. DONT MOVE HERE. Kelsie the property manager SUCKS. Not responsible AT ALL.

Leaving this specifically to highlight the maintenance crew that has been helping with my apartment. Our upstairs neighbors accidentally left water running for a few days which started pooling through our ceiling, the two guys who have been helping us to fix (I think one's name was Nick) it have been nothing but helpful. They originally came out during not-ideal hours on a Sunday and kept the issue from getting any worse and have consistently come back through at reasonable times until the ceiling was patched back up. Very good experience given the circumstance.

Emily has been so wonderful to work with on funding an apartment! My boyfriend and I visited a few places in October and were interested in Arcadia, and we applied and just signed our lease for next fall! The application process was very easy, and Emily was extremely helpful with answering all questions I had! Can’t wait to move in next fall!

My experience with Arcadia grove is incredibly disappointing. After living here for a semester they have lost my check for rent multiple times and tried to charge me twice, have left eviction papers on my door because of this, barely ever answer the phone, office is not helpful at all and have no actual answers for you. Everybody I know that’s lived with Arcadia grove has had a horrible experience. It’s the cheapest place to live for a reason, you’ll hate it. As for the apartments, the AC unit is only in the front room, always breaks, and barely effects the temp of the bedrooms. My dishwasher

The office staff and maintenance team are the best around. Had some water issues with all the rain Sunday night, and the on call maintenance guy was so polite and made sure to keep us in the loop with what they had found out. Also said he was the only one here for a few hours that night and was handling 7 calls alone waiting for backup to come help. They’ve always been so polite and walk through all the issues and fixes every time.

I LOVE Jill- she helped me decide on what apartment lease I should sign, she accommodated to all of my move-in needs, and whenever I need something I always go to her. My partner and I recently looked into moving into Arcadia Grove. While we decided it wasn't for us, the staff in the office was super helpful. They answered all of our questions and took the time to explain anything we needed. We decided not to accept because it was a little too close to Western and the busy areas of campus for us and it was a little on the small side for what we wanted, but it would be great for students looking to be right in the middle of all that is happening.

If you are in the market for a new apartment in the Kalamazoo area, you would be doing yourself a disservice to not stop into the Arcadia Grove leasing office. The leasing staff is amazing and super helpful. They will go out of their way to not only ensure that you have found the perfect home, but make sure that you are happy the whole time you are there. I went into Arcadia Grove because I’m looking to move to Kalamazoo. They didn’t have the apartment available for what I was looking for, but Vanessa was so helpful and informative. The office seemed fun and everyone greeted me as soon as I walked in. I hope to live here when they have something open!

The office staff is very responsive and professional. Jill was particularly helpful and responsive to following up with several outstanding matters and was genuinely a pleasure to deal with. The apartment was quite old and scheduled for renovation so there were a number of issues to take care of and Jill made sure those were addressed. After new management came in there were a number of improvements such as better lighting, cameras in parking lots and new washers and dryers in the laundry rooms. It is a good location for WMU to catch a local bus or be able to walk to campus.
