Dominick's Deli

My friend mentioned this place has really good chicken fingers, so for dinner we got 2lbs of chicken fingers for 4 of us about $9.99 a Lb with some sides we had at home already and we had an easy dinner for $20. The chicken fingers are well seasoned and taste great and are even kid approved. Cheaper n better than any fast food chicken.

The chicken fingers were the only thing we tried here. The place is a typical Italian deli with cold cuts, Sandwhiches and some sides.

A friend called in an order as a gift because my husband has been being treated for cancer and thought it would make things easier for us. She was told the order would be ready at 4:00....got there at 4:30 and the order wasn't ready. When I asked one of the workers he told me that one of the guys behind the counter would get it and proceeded to call the order over the counter to a specific employee who acknowledged him . After waiting while the employee behind the counter proceeded to clean the cold cut slicer I approached the same guy....I'm assuming he was a manager....he was speaking

I wanted to really love this place but it was nothing special. I ordered the Broadway since they seem famous for their chicken cutlets and I like prosciutto. The chicken was bland and not crispy, and they literally put one slice of prosciutto. You know how thin prosciutto is, well it's almost invisible and you could not even taste it. It just seems like they are very cheap with the meat. The sandwich was too small for the price. No need to go back.

I can't believe I forgot to review this great place. I came here last month in search of some "gabagool" (capicolla). For a great price I got 1/2 pound, and 1/2 pound of fresh mozzarella as well. We also shared some wings which were great! Thanks, Dominick's!

Great customer service! We went to pick up a catering order and one of the entrees was wrong. I'm pretty sure the woman from our end accidentally ordered the wrong entrée but then man there quickly took the blame as if they made the mistake. Instead of eggplant rollatini we got fried eggplant- No biggie- easy mix up and easy fix. I said I would take what was made it was fine but the man (Dan I think his name was?) said sit tight he would fix us the rollatini. While waiting, Dan kept checking on us and checking in the back for our order all while making sure the long line in the deli kept

My go to place in New Hyde Park. Love all of their delicious sandwich options, sides and especially the chicken strips! Be prepared to wait on a bit of a line during the breakfast and lunch rush. Worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

Best deli on Long Island, don’t listen to these snowflakes writing bad reviews. Who tf complains about a hero not being cut into 4 pieces or there being too much sauce lmao, what do you want them to cut the crust off for you like mommy used to do too?

We purchase their Amazing chicken strips with honey mustard for any group gatherings, Family favorite! Heroes are great too.

Great place. Definitely a word of mouth place. You wouldn't notice it if you passby.
Lunch time are long lines but not a long wait.
The staff serves the lunch crowd quickly and efficiently.

By far the best deli I have ever visited in my entire life, thus far. Great services, clean establishment, lovely staff and even better owner. Their sandwiches are simply amazing. I have had many sandwiches in my life; Dom's deli Italian sandwich is at the pinnacle, hands down! I will miss this place now that I am in Boston.

Dominick's is the BEST. If I could give them ten stars I would. Let me explain why. My step daughter loves their chicken fingers and on a rainy spring day asked me for some comfort food. So off to Dominic's we go. We arrived but soon realized that they closed 30 minutes ago. We started to walk back to the car when suddenly a worker opened the back door and explained that they were closed but asked want we wanted. We told him we came for chicken fingers. He said that we are in luck because someone had ordered chicken fingers but forgot to pick them up and would give them to us at no charge

Have been meaning to try this deli out but the pandemic delayed us, until recently! The deli is spacious with a wide spread of choices to select from. We were in the mood for some cold cuts and sandwiches, so ended up with The Italian, a fairly large sandwich filled with ham, salami, provolone, pepperoni, a variety of vegetables and oil & vinegar. The fusion of meats were fresh and delicious, pairing well with the simplest of condiments and a large hero. The staff were also extremely friendly, with a female employee handing my toddler a lollipop that she couldn't refuse. We all left

Ive never written a review in my life and i’m not the type to but my sandwich was wet from them putting way to much sauce... ingredients were very low quality. Didn’t even finish my food wasted about 30$ there smh

You can order online and pick up to beat the line because obviously there will be lines for these chicken fingers and fries.

Was excited to try these famous chicken fingers everyone raves about, but sadly, they didn't live up to the hype. There's a tinge of sweetness in the breading, but otherwise no other seasoning or flavor. Nice chunks of chicken and the honey mustard is good, but overall, they're just a decent chicken tender. Maybe better fresh? Got them takeout and ate them nearly 40 minutes after pickup.

Their sandwiches were really good. Chicken parm hero was solid. The Italian was excellent. Better than many I've tried. The eggplant and roast red peppers added great flavor.

Good deli with alot of good food. You can choose from a list of hero's or sandwiches which are good. They are famous for there chicken fingers which are really good. Every time I have been there they are stocked up with plenty of chicken fingers which they sell very fast. I have had rice balls from here which are really good. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Their Chicken Fingers are some of the best I've ever had, if you ever come in you need to try them. The store runs very well and everything is quick and convenient so it is easy to run in and grab lunch on the go.

Ohhhh this places is delicious there chicken fingers are soooo yummy I hear this place typically has a line but I have been blessed to say that I have not experienced long wait times , the staff members are very kind and courteous and all the foods I have tried has been delicious !

Best Deli in New Hyde Park area, and right around the corner from my good friends house, we walked here during halftime of the giants game.

The market is filled with everything you need. Drinks, Snacks, An Amazing Deli, Ice Cream, Meats, Cheeses etc etc. Place is legendary, I grew up coming here for sandwiches during high school.

The fan favorite is the chicken fingers, they are out of this world, probably the best ones I've had in a long time. And remember to get the dips, they got all the sauces.

The cashier is a solid sandwhich for my number one, second to that is a classic Chick Parm

Guys there are really nice, even though they were busy, they had the time to ask me how my day was and serve me a delicious meal. Dominick's Deli has been around for a long as I could remember. They always have good quality foods and cold cuts. Their Chicken Fingers are the best!! Everyone raves about them.
