I am board certified in internal medicine and have been practicing both internal medicine and primary care in Newtown, Connecticut for 35 years. My philosophy of practice has always been to put my patients' care first which means that my visits are unhurried and thorough with a focus on early diagnosis, health maintenance and preventive care.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience with Community Health Center. They are very thorough in their physicals and ask questions about your health and lifestyle that are essential to a positive physical experience. The office staff was knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly. I love having the security of knowing my doctor is right around the corner to help, or a phone call away.

I absolutely love Cheryl Rosenthal and Dr. Modwell. I have not had the pleasure of meeting their associate yet. Cheryl has been my doctor for many years now and has helped me tremendously with my many unique health issues. I have seen Dr. Modwell on 2 occasions and found her to be thorough in her approach while being cautious in prescribing antiobiotics when not necessary. The are both easy to get an appointment with when needed quickly.

I can only say I am very satisfied about the attention I have received from Community Health Associates but, more specifically from Michelle Young. Not only has she taken the time to listen to my concerns but also went out of her way to follow up on an important referral during a very critical health issue I experienced. Se quickly put together the necessary paperwork for the specialist, sent it over and then followed up with phone calls to his office and to me until everything was set.

Recently changed my primary physician to Dr. Friedman. I am very happy with my experience. He is kind and very thorough. He takes his time and I never feel rushed. I am comfortable asking as many questions as I have. He explains everything thoroughly. His support is efficient and thorough. I highly recommend him.
