The place is clean, food is decent the fries are a shoe string type not hot at all. The chees steak sandwich has little cheese on it. The roll was not a crisp or seeded one. Just a typical day old one.. There was a bakery as you walked in the cakes looked good. .there was a free pickle bar. The down fall is your not told you can use it...The menu is on a piece of paper a photo copy in black and white with very small printing. Prices $$ and the rating is a 7 out of 10.. Shorthills restaurant Can improve this rating if they addressed the small problems. .

Bought a groupon, so my family and I decided to have dinner here on a Friday night. The atmosphere was dead. No music, strange smell and gross silverware. Both sandwiches we ordered were a sloppy mess with rubbery chicken and the driest fries I have tatsed. With the exception of pancakes and the pickle bar, those were the only edible thing. However I would reccomend the deli area if you want to splurge on some $$$salmon and pastrami.

This Deli has quality food as well as great customer service. My family has been a patron of this establishment for years, and we regularly make trips here (such as today). They have numerous items on their menu for breakfasts, lunches, and of course the deli selection is fantastic. Their prices on most items are relatively fair, and the atmosphere is fantastic. One waitress in particular, Barb, is an irreplaceable as well as a fantastic member of the staff. One would laud her professionalism as well as her genuine personality.
