To give this business a rating of 1 star is praising it too highly.
Like the other comment left for this business, I had a limited time appointment with a "coach" who then proceeded to take phone calls while I was sitting there.
Completely unprofessional, a waste of time and money for anyone or anyplace that pays for this so-called service.
Luckily I didn't have to pay for this service myself.

To start, I did not use the service of this specific SF office, but I did utilize their service in both US and Canada. And I can tell you they are both...quite useless.
My first encounter with them was an orientation in their Michigan office, where I was sat with a bunch of 40-50 year old people who recently got laid off too. The orientation was basically about how to sign up and use their online portal, which 90% of the stuff I can figure out myself. I almost laughed when the group was discussing "this thing" called social media and how people find jobs there now. I respect that some

I mean they tell you nothing more then you can read online articles on looking for a new job. They also advised me to start my own business, with what capital i was just laid off LOL. If your company is paying for it use it as its free, but i would never pay for this. They over promise and under deliver. Its just a way for companies to say they offered you transition assistance when you were laid off.

After the company I worked at over the past ten years got taken over by an American one, and laid me off, they provided free 3 months access to the right management as part of the severance package. I was skeptical that they would be of much help after reading the yelp reviews, but it's actually not that bad. I'm in Canada mind you, so perhaps there is a different level of customer service.
After enrolling on the website I was sent an email activation code within a couple days. I think the reason why it's not automatic is because there is some manual verification to ensure my

Basically useless and overpaid by my former employer! I asked 2 questions - they couldn't help. My resume was re-tooled and they kept pushing me to start my own company, this was consistent throughout. I gave up on RM and joined Jean Killacky and Associates FANTASTIC webinars, I also shared this with my former employer.
No assistance of any kind - complete waste of time and money!!

I was recently let go in force reductions for a large corporation. At my exit interview they advised me to contact right management as they would help me in my upcoming job / career search.
I contacted right management within 2 days and several times over the next couple of weeks by phone. Each time I was told they were verifying my eligibility for their services. Then crickets, they didn't return my calls or emails so I gave up.
They just contacted me, 4.5 months later and told me they are still verifying my eligibility for their services. What a joke, are you kidding me? They

This company, specifically Tom Shea, is unprofessional and snooty. Tom was short, smug, and acted as if he was better than me. I would suggest you call and ask to talk to him. Try it. I was laughed of the phone because i had not viewed his companies website. Terrible professionalism and even less to offer from his company.

My mother was laid off after almost 10 years at Motorola and I've been trying to help her make the transition to a new job.
I've been witness to two weeks worth of runarounds, condescending receptionists and just plain unhelpful behavior as she's dealt with Right Management.
She's been trying to update her resume for over 2 weeks through them and on two occasions has been given wrong information about the webinars she needs to complete in order to get her resume back. For instance, she was told this week's webinar was on Tuesday, when it was Monday and now has to wait

Yes, Jean K. pretty much nailed it, Right Management services are different than a regular employment agency because they focus on career transitions. If your severance package includes access to a Right Management program for however many weeks, do not delay take advantage of it why?
It's cheaper than group therapy and since insurance coverage will either be costly or nonexistent when you're "transitioning" why not take the opportunity to hear your fears, frustrations, and anger validated by people who have been there are AND are there!
Per Jean K., you may know how to interview
