SJR Handyworks, INC serves customers of many local pest control companies and real estate agents as well as many local homeowners. We are available to serve you and your customers as well. We have a great understanding of wood destroying organisms (WDO) and can replace any damage caused by them. While we often remove and replace damage, there are times that patches are adequate.
I used this company for various projects at my houses in Rancho Santa Fe and Julian, mostly related to water damage. They were very professional, and there were no problems. I found them easy to work with. I would highly recommend them. SJR handyworks is the absolute best, honest and professional contracting company.

Indeed, as good as it gets. I had extensive termite and rot problems on the outside. I wanted a repair to last so my son gets a good house when I kick over.
SJR is one of the few who treats the wood (most contractors didn't know it was possible). SJR is the only contractor I know that cuts and drills before treating, priming, and painting - BEFORE attaching (thus the all of the surface gets protected). Attention to details and "doing it right" is their primary goal.
I really appreciated foreman Ron explaining things to me when he ran into problems and when I asked for something

I never thought I could give a contractor 5 stars, but SJR sure deserves it. We had a major water leak in our living room after the last rain. We tried to get several contractors, but most were too busy to even come look. We did get 2 to look, but this was major work involving removal of an entire wall with 3 huge windows and 3 small ones, and we were not getting a very comfortable feeling that they knew what they were doing or that they had the manpower to do it.
