Foy's Bike Shop, based in Woodland, California, has been local family owned and operated since 1910. For over 105 years, Foy's has provided quality bicycle parts and service. Foy's has been apart of the community for a long time and has continued to be a family friendly and local bike shop. Services
Includes external adjustments of the headset, bottom bracket, brake and derailleur systems, hub adjustments and minor truing of wheels. Clean external surfaces. Includes a complete disassemble of bicycle and components and de-greasing of entire drive chain and repacking of bearings. Super helpful. My Husbands been calling weekly if not monthly for almost the last year to get his hands on a certain bike. John called and kept in touch with him -- answered any and all questions he had with enthusiasm and care. When we were told they had some options in stock that he might be interested in, he couldn't get there fast enough with cash in hand, he wasn't leaving without a bike even if it wasn't the one he had truly had his heart set on.

I live far away but I work in Woodland and see this shop everyday and read the reviews on yelp. They did my tune up in a week even during the covid 19 when elk grove shops were saying it would be a month all together. The bike runs like new with new cables put in and a chain and other parts. It is an old bike that runs like a brand new bike. I will go back there despite the drive.

I had scheduled an appointment for a full service on my mountain bike for about a week out as all shops are crazy busy right now. Brought my bike in and they said "a few days". Picked it up on Tuesday evening! The bike is as clean as it has ever been, it looks like I have a new derailleur cause I have never seen it that clean since it was new. I had them bleed the brakes and now I realize how bad they were before. Can't wait to go ride it. Super friendly service, very knowledgeable. I know the guys who work there and own it have been there forever, vs the revolving door of mechanics

I've dealt with lots of bike shops but this is by far the best. Good selection, good prices and GREAT customer service! Tim goes out of his way to help you make the right decision but then stays committed to helping even after the sale. He managed to get me a trial recumbent trike so I could ride before I made the decision to buy. The one I bought doesn't fit in either our car or our minivan so I couldn't get it in the shop for a tune up. He came out to me!

I recommend this bike shop to anyone who needs one, even if you live in Davis, trust me, it's worth it!! After going to a shop in Davis and having a recurring problem that just wasn't being addressed I decided to give Foy's a shot. Turns out it was such an easy fix, more of an adjustment, I wasn't even charged for the service provided. The young man who helped me even suggested two bike shops in Davis he recommends if I don't want to come to Woodland! No thanks, I'm a Foy's customer now!

I am so pleased with the service and expertise at Foy's. I have not been able to ride a bike since knee replacements over three years ago. But I wanted to try. I called ahead to see if they had a Miami Sun three wheeler I could try. I explained my situation and they invited me in to give it a try. I arrived and they pulled out a consignment three wheeler--almost brand new-- for me to try. It worked and I was able to ride it. I bought it along with a helmet and bike lock. They even delivered it to my house and did a thorough walk-thru of all I needed to know. I am thrilled to be mobile

The charity I work for recently had there "sort day" at Lee Middle School. Long story short, this is the time we sort toys, clothes and bikes to be given to underprivileged kids in the area. One of the bikes we had earmarked for one of the kids had a crushed brake cable and was not safe to ride. In a panic I called the folks at Foy's Bike shop. Not only did he fit me in last minute, he repaired the bike and had me back at the sort in 15 minutes. On top of that, he didn't even charge me for the repair! Cheers to the good folks at Foy's. I've used Foy's at least 6 times over the last 8 years for routine service and tune-ups - AND they've EARNED my TRUST.
I like their friendly customer service approach, have some pretty good products and accessories. If I'm just stopping by to ask questions, tip & techniques, or getting my bike tuned up - they've always given me good quality service and advice. You can't buy Trust - it has to be developed over the years.

Local businesses have nothing to offer except superb service. Unfortunately, this business only offers poor service.
Went in today to get our son's stroller tired patched. They don't patch tubes but offered to sell me a new one for $5. Fair enough. They then tried to up-sell me to a more durable tube for $8. I asked if it came with a warranty since they were claiming it was more durable and attempting to charge me (60%) more. The young girl helping me replied, "30 feet and 30 seconds." Remember that thing called customer service? Everytime I've come into Foys bikes I feel like they have fully gone out of their way to help me with sales or service. They truly exceed any bike shop in customer service that I've visited in Davis or Sac. I went in recently to exchange a rear bike light I bought there by mistake for a headlight.
