Dr. Fang grew up in Michigan and graduated from Albion College with a degree in Biology and a concentration in Neuroscience.
A vision plan is a prepaid plan consisting of an annual wellness check and sometimes includes a hardware benefit for contact lenses or glasses. Many medical insurances carry a vision plan benefit or sometimes they contract with a third party provider. 10/10 would recommend. Scheduling was really easy and the front desk team reached out to me to make sure they had all my information on file prior to my appointment so that I could go straight to the doctor once I arrived (much appreciated during covid!) Dr. Fang has great bedside manner - he answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing very clearly.
Also, they have glasses in their showroom marketed as "Asian fit" - as someone who has a low nose bridge (and whose glasses are always sliding down), I can't tell you how much of a game changer this is. I didn't buy any frames today

Dr. Fang is exceptional. He took so much time to thoroughly explain my eye concerns as it relates to my other health issues. The office is very quiet and clean. His staff is extremely professional. I found the most amazing Tom Ford opticals with a blue light reducing lens... Paul is a genius at identify the best fit for your face and style😍. I couldn't be happier.

I absolutely love and recommend Dr.Fang, Paul and his whole team! I feel so welcome and comfortable there. Dr.Fang always is so thorough while also being so kind, patient, and friendly during my exam. Once I got my new prescription I got to shop for new glasses and shades with Paul and he found the best frames for my face shape while also keeping my style preference in mind.1 million stars out of 5!

I followed Dr. Fang from his previous practice to his own practice at this location. This is my 2nd time meeting with him since 2019 at this location. He is always very patience to explain the exam results, and knowledgeable. He carefully chose contact lenses based on my job and lifestyle needs. The whole team went above and beyond to accommodate and out of town walk-in. They were willing to try 3 different contact lenses for my first fitting, this ensured we found the best fit with the sharpest vision. Their selection of frames was very diverse and Paul was able to make sure my new purchase would be delivered to the next stop in my travels. Great experience all around. Great location, just above the city floor. I plan to get a second set of frames from their selection once I am ready.

I purchased eye glasses from a warehouse store, but the temples were squeezing my head. And the warehouse store did not provide much after sale service (you get what you pay for). Dr. Fang and team were kind enough to refit my glasses on a moment's notice, even though I did not buy the frames and lenses at Seattle Eye. By the way, next time, I will.

In Seattle in business and had an eye injury. I thought I could tough it through but the pain had me searching for an urgent care clinic. I ran across a Swedish express clinic and made an appointment. They were amazing, calling to tell me that they found me an eye doctor because they didn't want me to go there if they couldn't completely help me. I called Seattle eye and they got me right in. Everyone was so kind and the doctor made a quick diagnosis. The wonderful local pharmacy filled my prescriptions and off I went!

Dr. Fang is such a good doctor and honestly
Just a wonderful person in general. Got my first glasses there and explained every single thing to me that he was saying and what was going on ( without making me feel really stupid). The only reason I'm giving a 4 and not a 5 star, is because the glasses were really expensive and I don't feel like my insurance that they accept, was properly utilized.

My husband is Software Engineer, when he read about usefulness of Gunnar Glasses which eliminate digital eye strain & block blue light, basically protecting the eyes more, he wanted to get Gunnar glasses so that he can focus more , work longer efficiently .
They were only three shops in Seattle , selling Gunnar glasses in that Seattle Eye MD has good reviews , Doctors & customer service was good . We had eye exam, doctor carefully read about medical history of eye because back in India my husband has KXL surgery & suggested the best one .

Eye Clinic: I've been to many eye doctors in the years and Dr. Crowell was the ONLY one that ever explained to me fully about my astigmatism changes and even went further to help explain to me why my previous prescription was incorrect by physically showing me what the right lens would look like.
He also went over what I should be expecting as I get older and provided me with ideas on how to best utilize my insurance policy assuming I stay with my employer.
I really appreciate the extra steps he took with me as a new patient and will most definitely be back!

Best frame selection BAR NONE! From Oliver Peoples to Moscot, the options here are far superior to your average eye-wear shop. Aside from the extensive selection of high-end designer frames, they have many options for polarized sunglasses across all brands and price points. The staff knows what they are talking about too. This little shop is well worth checking out next time you are downtown.
