Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate, a flat rate, or on contingency. Our lawyers and paralegals keep detailed logs of the time they spend on your case. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs may be disclosed to all clients upon the closing of a case.

Nathaniel is a dishonest lawyer who will come back to you and increase prices after you already agreed to them.
I spoke to the front office staff who is either clueless or just flat out lies as we agreed to a flat rate including their phone consult price. Seven days later after the phone consult and providing all the requested documents Nathaniel comes back and says the flat rate didn't include the phone consult.....
Not to mention that the front office never mentioned you have to call in for the phone consult. After waiting 15 minutes with no

I had a consultation with Nathaniel back in January after several confrontations with my landlord in regards to me wanting to break a lease. I thought he was a good attorney until I was given the WRONG ADVICE. I gave him the details of my situation and he advised me on what to do. When I went to court, I learned that the some of the advice he gave me was incorrect. I could have won my case that day! Fortunately, I had all my evidence to prove my case and the judge allowed my case to be continued to December of this year. When I called Brown to inform him about furnishing me with incorrect info, he was short, rude and very argumentative. Would never recommend him.

Brown McClain is a new law firm to Long Beach, but no less experienced. They are very reasonable priced and are what is needed to accurately and expediently navigate the court room and the complex laws that we have.
