We believe to give a proper estimate the vehicle must be inspected first. Over the phone it is next to impossible to give an accurate estimate of price because there are so many variables in todays vehicles. Year, make, model, 4 cyl, 6 cyl, 8 cyl, etc. We offer a complementary vehicle inspection which will not only answer you questions but also let you know up front what the condition of your vehicle is.

Lost a ton of money/time at a previous shop (G&J auto) that could not diagnose the source of an oil leak on my truck. Brought the truck here and these guys figured it out within a few hours. Performed a very thorough inspection of my vehicle with pictures and descriptions. Very professional, straightforward, and great customer service.

Battery on my Prius C went dead and was heavily backordered due to supply chain delays. John at Shige's went above and beyond normal service to find me the right battery in a timely manner. Otherwise, I would still be without a car to drive. We have been servicing our cars there for years and are never disappointed with the exceptional customer service!

Despite being charged several thousand dollars by Pacific Volkswagen to fix an idling issue on my VW, they still couldn’t resolve the problem. In fact, they continued to wildly guess at potential fixes, exhibiting no confidence for any resolution. Exasperated with their incompetence and scam-like nature, I decided to end my relationship with the dealership. I discovered Shige’s through Google and took it here for another chance to diagnose my car’s issue.

I started bringing my Toyota Highlander here a couple of years ago and completely regret not going to them sooner. I could've saved a lot of money and time. For my particular vehicle they charge less than half of what Jiffy Lube and other quick oil change places do. They are honest and not nearly as stressful or confusing as going to other mechanics in the area. And they are unquestionably better than going to a dealership.

We've brought our Lexus and Infiniti here for years for regular servicing, brakes, tires, etc. Great service. They go the extra mile. My out of warranty Infiniti was extra loud, I thought it was the muffler. They were able to weld a cracked heat shield back together for a nominal fee. Another car had a rat hiding in the engine compartment, and they spent time trying to get the rat out. As soon as my other Infiniti is out of warranty, I will be taking it here for all servicing.

LOVE this place! John and the crew care and it shows. Their service is timely, attentive to detail and very fairly priced. I trust them completely, and you can't say that about many mechanics sadly. I've had opportunities to bring my car other places but I can't imagine doing it. Shige's is the only place for me.
