My 2015 Mazda 3 was making faint clicking noise when accelerating and decelerating around 1st gear. I Googled the problem and read through several forums, common answers were lose nuts/bolts, cv joints, and faulty axle. I called the Cabe Toyota of Long Beach and was advised to schedule an appointment to the service department, which I booked for the next morning. After an 10 1/4 hour wait from 7:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., the Toyota manager told me that my transmission is faulty and needs replacing.
I was hit with a $2656.37 price to replace the transmission and reprogram my car computer system.
