Ordered a medium size Meat Lovers Pizza, the empanadas (tried all three: beef, chicken, and spinach) a slice of their Cheese Gian Pizza, and hot wings.
To much disappointment, the pizza did not taste anything like the ones from New York. Pizzas were very average/basic but had a price of a gourmet pizza. Even after reheating, the cheese didn't have that "melted" texture.
Hot wings deserve only 1 star... Your pizza chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut have better hot wings than the ones I had here. It was lacking flavor and the chicken tasted off...

5 stars for friendly service, the $5.99 Giant Pizza Slice and Drink special would have only been 4 Stars, but not a bad slice of pizza, and it was pretty good size. Would I return, yes. So, I saw the posted special sign today 11/11/2021 about 3 30p.m. and had to try it.
Pros-
Counter order taken by a very nice young lady, great service.
Told it would take 7-10 minutes for the Giant Cheese Slice, ready in that window of time.
Slice tasted good, served in a pizza box to go.
Price is certainly fair.
Parking in this little center off Magnolia and Heil was ok.

The Philly Cheesesteak here is good... Dunno what a real Philly tastes like so I actually went to the most highly rated and supposedly authentic Philly Cheesesteak spot in OC to compare and it was disappointing compared this pizza shop version. Authentic or not, this sandwich is great. Will be coming back since I work nearby. Keep in mind it takes about 25 minutes so phone in your orders. Tried also their cold roast beef and cold turkey sandwich and it was decent. Will need to try the pastrami next.

Lately we have been enjoying eating from the independents instead of the large chains. The pizza we ordered was descent but the reason for the two stars was how they charged for it. We ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and sausage and half Canadian bacon and pineapple but they charged me for a four topping pizza. This is the way we get our pizza prepared no matter where we order it and this is the only place that has ever charged me for four toppings. Sadly, we won't be coming back to Dano's.

You only get one chance to make a first impression. We decided to give this place a try to throw some business to the small business owners in the area. We ordered three side salads, two fettuccine alfredo, and a lasagna. I'll start with the side salads. My daughter's lettuce was so bad she ended up throwing the whole thing away. My wife had a similar situation and had to take out more than half the lettuce because it was brown. Not a good start. We then moved on to the entrée. The fettuccine alfredo was bland with the sauce having little to no flavor. The lasagna was undercooked

I hit this spot today for lunch. I did get her name but the worker that took our order was so pleasant and nice. She had knowledge of the menu and her recommendations of a meatball sandwich and a roasted Turkey sandwich were great. The food was delicious! It was so good my buddy had to try the pizza!! To go of course!! I spoke with him later in the day and he raved about the pizza, I know what I'm getting next time I'm there, PIZZAAA!!

My wife and I went in today to try this place. We ordered a couple of slices witch they cut into pieces. Like we are children? Anyway the pizza had little to zero sauce and just about no cheese. Come on people put some sauce and cheese on the pizza, has to give it a try. Unfortunately we will never Oder again there

EAT HERE IF YOU DON'T MIND GETTING COVID. The pizza is good (I got the 4 meats pizza with pineapple) but I was honestly shocked to see the workers not wearing masks during a pandemic. I thought it was very irresponsible and unsafe to not wear a mask so that's why I'm giving 3 stars. Other than that, their pizzas are good but I don't recommend coming here during the pandemic if they're not going to take the appropriate precautions to lower the spread of Covid-19.

I really wanted this to be my new Neighborhood spot. A husband and wife team own it. Food and prices aren't too bad.
So why 1 star?? Because the front counter girl- no smile, no greeting, resting annoyed face, earpod in ear whole time. ZERO customer service. Rude as hell.
Everyone has a bad day. But nope been here a few times. It wasn't just me.
Was rude to every customer that walked in the door. Sadly, it is common sense.
An employee like this can kill a business. After feeling she was a prison warden... I won't be back.
But like some young people... she probably thinks

I adore this spot! They offer high quality dishes, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is friendly. I visit often this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

The window out front says "Pizza by the Slice", but cutting a bigger triangle into squares doesn't count as a slice to me. Didn't expect much from this place and was still overly disappointed. Their meat lovers "slice" left a lot to be desired. Dough's lacking, sauce is nothing spectacular. The guys on the pizza box have more character than this place.

We found Dano's on Yelp since we were craving pizza tonight and we saw it was open. Upon entering, we noticed the workers had no masks or hairnets. This made us skeptical but we ordered. After we ordered, we waited for our pizza and received our hot pizza brought to our car. We were excited, but upon coming home to what looked like a delicious pizza, upon us all taking a bite we were disgusted. Our pizza had... multiple hairs intertwined in the slices.. Needless to say, we threw it out. We are very disappointed - with COVID right now, all businesses should be extra careful in handling food

Well I walked into this pizza place because last time i was here the pizza way great. That was over 2 years ago, under different ownership. The current owner was there, she was very confident about the pizza so orded a 18" pie to give it a try.
My wife hates almost everything out there. She actually loved the pizza and so did I. So Im going to have to recomend this place. Nice thin crust fresh sause and generous toppings. Finally we have a new pizza place. Go there I think your going to be glad you did. No their not paying me to say that.

I've been going to Dano's for years! I moved out
of the area about a year ago, but ended stopping by yesterday and I must say, I was completely disappointed. I always get a pizza and the antipasto salad. The pizza was decent but the salad was the worst excuse for a salad I've seen in a long time and the house dressing is NOTHING like it used to be. I sure do miss the original owners.

This place is spectacular. They sell pizza by the slice and they're ridiculously huge. Their homemade soup is ridiculously good also. Their house dressing is very very tasty it really wakes up your palate. And it's very affordable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great tasting meal for a very affordable price

Great pizza here with excellent service. They have plenty of indoor seating. They do a wonderful job of helping you pick out exactly what you want and they're more than happy to walk you threw the menu. We each ordered a slice and they made it fresh. Took about 10 minutes but was worth the wait for freshly made pizza.

All I can say is WOW! Came in for a slice of pizza and it was a huge slice. And, it tasted fantastic! Haven't had a great tasting pizza like this in about 25 years. Great, crunchy crust. The pizza had a nice firmness to it and some crunch as well. The cheese was just enough and perfect. And the kicker was the hint of oregano throughout. Highly recommend this place.
