Services
Andrean was founded in 1959, and named for St. Andrew, the patron saint of the first bishop of the diocese of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gary, Andrew Grutka. Through most of its history, Andrean has been staffed in part by members of the Basilian Fathers and the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius.
You will use your family portal to pay tuition, pre-pay for lunch, check grades and see announcements. Please note that we are a cashless campus, all incidentals including gym uniforms, vocab books, parking passes, and tech repairs will be charged to your FACTS account. FACTS Grant & Aid Application -must complete if you are interested in financial assistance, including the Indiana Choice Scholarship.
Please contact the main office if you have any questions regarding an upcoming event or announcement. Students-the Spring Break trip to Europe is back on starting in 2023. We will be going to Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain. The first 30 Andrean students to sign up will be allowed to go. There are signs posted around school with the sign up information as well as social media posts.
Welcome to the Andrean attendance office, please contact our attendance clerk if your student will be late to school or will miss a full day. All late students are required to report to the attendance office to excuse their tardiness. Students must attend 5 out of 7 classes to participate in extracurricular activities on that specific day.
