It is a three star sort of. Used them for a number of months and the work was probably a 41/2 star. The problem started when we discovered that they had broken parts of our built-in vac system. First was the hose, that was a $300 replacement, then came the vac head. That was a $160 replacement. When we asked for reimbursement we were told that their insurance only covered $100 and that was in the conditions that we in the emails that confirmed their appointments. I have not written a lot of reviews and I'm not swift to review a business but Maids Around Town based out of north San Diego deserves a Ten (10) star rating. Their company is professional, courteous and very punctual.
I have used their service 3 times and it looks like this is the start of a long mutually successful relationship.

Honestly let me say , Trina does wonders on my home. She came once before and I was blown away.
Now we are reoccurring and It became my favorite day . Nothing better then a fresh clean house. Life caught up to me (work , husband , animals, school full time). Well I have been slacking with house work.
My house looks so fresh ! Hats off to Trina for coming on time , loving on my animals and not afraid to have a conversation with me . Maid (see what I did there) the experience so much better! A+ !

I have had the best service with this company. I was terrified to bring someone to my home, specially to clean. Everything changed when I met Valerie from Maids Around Town. She comes to my home 2 times a month and makes my life so much easier. The cost of this service is totally worthy specially, if you work full time. I have never had an issue with Valerie. She is a self starter and takes care of business fast. She is also very detailed oriented making easy on me because I dont have to tell her what to do.

On Monday April 30th I had schedule with Maids around town to clean my vacant 2 bedroom 2 baths condo in Escondido. I also had requested Megan based on some reviews I had read. They said no problem. When I arrived at the condo, there was another lady called Michelle they had sent out.
I walked around with Michelle and pointed out areas that I wanted to make sure she cleans including the front entrance door, the entrance tiles, the two windows in the bedrooms, the top of the fridge, the tracks for the closet doors, etc.
I asked her to text me half an hour before leaving, so I have time to come

I recently had Trina at my house (cleaning the lower level ) not only was she on time but she started right away ! She was showed so much compassion to my dogs and my 100 pound dog that wanted all the love (which she gave ). I appreciate that and her. She made my Ouse sparkle and shine and make it smell well not like a petco that's for sure ! It was amazing ! From the ceiling to the baseboards my house was shining ! And she asked what I preferred on my floors ! It met a lot that she wanted to make sure I was 1000% happy !

I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with a toddler in Escondido and have never had anyone come to clean my home before. This is mostly because I am Type A and have very particular expectations for how I like things cleaned and organized. If it's not organized...it's not clean. I had my two bedroom, two bathroom apartment cleaned for a move out inspection using this service and Destiney, did an amazing job. She was very friendly and professional, she made sure she knew exactly what was expected and also made sure that I was completely happy with the cleaning before leaving.
This company also had the best price out of all of the other companies in North county. The appointment scheduler was very help and worked with me to find someone who could get to my apartment with little notice.

We have hired many maid services over the 8 years living in Oceanside and these folks are hands down incredible. The rates are fair, their communication is excellent before, after and during the cleaning. The actual housecleaning and attention to detail is excellent.
We have settled in on Samantha who is always prompt, who has great attention to detail, works hard consistently and listens to your directions. She is amazing.

We've been using Maids Around Town for about 4 months now and they always brighten my day. There really is no way to explain how good it feels to come home to a clean house especially since we have a toddler who loves to make a mess! Thank you to Destiny, Michelle & Samantha for always doing such a great job and taking care of our house.

I scheduled my cleaning service through Amazon, and they had Maids Around Town get in touch with me. Megan is the manager and she was also the one who came in for cleaning. Very efficient, very quick and thorough: I have a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom Condo (1526 Sq Ft) and she was able to clean it really nicely, in under 3 hrs, just by herself. I've used a few cleaning services in San Diego, and they've all invariably sent in two cleaners for 2.5 hrs and still not do as good a job.

After trying another maid service and getting absolutely nowhere, I stumbled upon Maids around Town. After a minor mix-up with time schedules they sent out a maid that worked wonders and gave us the VIP treatment. Their communication before and after the fact using emails and texts make it really easy to schedule service. I would recommend this service to anyone.

The clean was scheduled to be on a tuesday at 8am so i told my husband to stay put in our apartment so he could let the cleaner, he had work at 9:30. Three+ hours later(around 11 to 12) my husband texts me that they haven't arrived. So i text them, they apologise, say that the cleaners made a mistake and asked to reschedule to a Saturday at 9am. Maids to order called me to expand their customer base for home cleaning. They had a special 3 hours for $60. I warned them that I had several dogs and 3 cats and my house was very dirty with lots of dust and fur as it is shedding season.( Please understand that I have two dog doors and all my animals are house trained and the go outdoors to do their business. There are no feces or animal droppings in my house). The gentleman on the phone told me that was no problem that they had a great crew Who Loved animals and could take care of it. So I agreed for them to come out to clean my home on Friday

I tried Maids Around Town for a few cleanings and have had issues pretty much all of the times. My first scheduled service was great, and they did an excellent job cleaning the house (they conducted a training and had multiple maids with a supervisor overseeing the work - I believe this is a tactic used to hook in new customers). Unfortunately, I was overcharged on time (we have a camera installed in the house and are able to verify start and stop times) and had to call and have a somewhat lengthy discussion before it was resolved. I thought I'd give them another shot since the price was so competitive
