Back in 2004, we moved to Dallas from San Francisco pursuing other business ventures that didn't take off. Thankfully our cleaning service did. I was 21 and Karen 18 years old when we started cleaning for a company that used chemicals and toxic cleaners. After a month we said, "We can do better than that!"
We decided to start on our own by publishing ads on Craigslist, distributing flyers, knocking on people's doors offering free cleanings, and giving out business cards hoping someone would call. Thanks to her, we kept on believing and survived to then build a small set of clients that were looking for green cleaning in Dallas.

Each worker pays their portion of payroll taxes (Federal income tax, social security, medicare and unemployment).

Cleaning jobs are mostly performed "solo" or by 1 technician. In the event of larger jobs you will be assigned to a team.

I LOVE Gmaids for having founded their business based on their commitment to the environment and the health of their customers and their team by using natural cleaning products and essential oils - AND they pay their team a fair wage of $20/hour. Their cleaning service is great, and their customer service support is excellent. Sometimes there are delays in arrival times for an appointment, but this is communicated as part of the service and has never been a problem. It's normal to wait for services in your home like for the Internet or the electrician.

Gmaids is fantastic. I reached out to them about a year ago for a cleaning and they have been so consistent in their follow up with me and reaching out. They were so responsive and prompt and have been a great experience overall. I have worked with several other cleaning companies in the past and Gmaids by far outperforms them!

I recently booked a cleaning online after Googling my town with the word 'maid'. Like most places they required that I provide credit card information, which I did. Two days later I was told that I'm outside of their service area. I again looked at their website and my town is listed but yet they refuse to service me. I'm left feeling uneasy since… they have my credit card information, in today's world it's easy to feel like you're getting scammed. This is one of those times for me, so not only am I checking my account 10 times a day for fraud but I'm still looking for a cleaning service
