Services
At Norriton Hearing Center it is our mission to provide customized professional hearing healthcare to individuals with hearing loss and their families. We strive to maintain an environment that invites a collaborative approach to managing hearing loss and its barriers. This is done by administering a comprehensive audiological hearing assessment, surveying an individual's communication needs, and educating patients regarding ALL of their options.
We keep a supply of batteries for you to purchase in our office. Stop in routinely for fresh batteries. Make sure to check the batteries in your hearing devices often and make sure there is no dirt, wax or debris interfering with the batteries performance.
Batteries that are properly charged will make a noise (a squeal) when cupped in your hand or after it has been inserted in your ear, when you cup your hand over the hearing aid it will also make a noise.Custom earmolds for cell phone headrests, Bluetooth compatible device, hands-free and more.

If you have been referred for a diagnostic audiologic evaluation, it means that hearing loss needs to be ruled out or further examined. The diagnostic audiologic evaluation may be indicated for individuals who did not pass an initial hearing screening. The evaluation is done to determine if a hearing loss is present, and if so, to detail the type and severity of the hearing loss.
Although the FCC now requires that hearing aid compatible (HAC) cell phones meet strict guidelines for quality, some hearing aid users wish to further improve their cell phone experience. Add-on devices and cell phone accessories can make cell phones even more compatible with hearing aids. Telecoil (also known as t-switch or t-coil) is a telephone switch feature that is now built in to about 45% of all hearing aids.
Sudden or prolonged exposure to noise can cause damage to your hearing and is one of the leading causes of hearing loss. Hearing loss from prolonged noise exposure is often detected too late, meaning the hearing loss is usually irreversible.
Hearing protection is extremely important for anyone who is regularly in a high-noise environment, including target shooters, motorcyclists, airline pilots, musicians, construction workers and factory workers. The truth is that anyone subject to noise exposure may need to wear hearing protection to protect their long-term hearing.

My Dad is new to the area and Dr. Jorge came highly recommended. That recommendation was an understatement. My Dad refers to Dr. Jorge as a "wizard", and "is impressed very time he visits." Theresa who runs the office is professional, very capable, funny, and kind. She seems to know every patient by name.

Amazing experience. We brought my grandfather who is now 91 in about a year ago. He was having difficulty hearing. Dr. Zavala did a hearing assessment and recommended a product. We purchased the set he felt my grandfather needed. After trying for a little while we went in for an adjustment and my Poppy could hear great.. It was great to see the smile on my grandfathers face..As a side note we now realize my grandfather practices selective hearing when it’s convenient. Dr. Zavala another job well done.
