Dishonest, hostile, and pathetic customer service, directly from the owner. Stay away as far as possible if you value your belongings, time, and personal dignity.
Took an item to get it dry cleaned and it got stained in the process. Took it back for clarifications, hoping for some customer service; but got barraged with a wall of lies, no responses, and just complete scam. Had to call continuoulsly for over a month to get any response. First, they scam you about some lab experiment they want to perform, which they never do (Just a tactic to prolong time and let the customer give up). Then they

Ok i have had 3 to 4 bad visits at this location.The first they messed up my Ralph Lauren sweater and the next 3 visit they fail to give me my clothes in the manner that I requested.. I bet you rhink I requested something crazy right?? If requesting to have your shorts extra heavy starched is a crazy request than call me crazy.. I pick up my shorts and they are no where close to being heavy starched and I still paid $13 for that shady work...Go to Estradas in East Austin they know how to press your clothes the trade off is that it is a little bit of a drive.

Many times I come here to get my formal wear clean. It's been simple.
Go in go out without a problem. Drop off and pick up then pay go.
Don't ask questions.
Don't ask for anything else.
For the past two years coming here. The staff is just different. It might be the same staff but a little more conversational.
I'm not saying conversational as if it's a good thing.
It's conversational with poor social skills. Examples could be tone of voice and physical appearance of the individuals.
Some of their comments can be taken as rudely. Again, I'm just here to bring

I had a very similar experience to some earlier reviewers. They ruined a shirt and said they would replace it, but when I brought them the new shirt and receipt, Mr. Reid told me in no uncertain terms that he would absolutely NOT pay for the replacement. He did offer me half the value in cleaning credit. Why would I continue to use a service provider who flat out lied to me and ruined my property. I will NEVER use them again, and I have made every effort to spread the word!

WHAT NO 0 ON THE RATING CHART As former employee I was highly recommending Reids Cleaners to everyone still taking my clothes there after working there they lost my clothes and give me a hard time on taking care of that problem then after that I still took my alterations there when its was pick up time 1 piece of my 3 items wasn't ready so I paid and picked up when I then came back for my 1 item that I had paid for the new staff was saying I had to pay and arguing the new staff is horrible and the management is worse Gary nor doyale reid could fix my situation. Once you've experienced a bad cleaners you know how nice it is to find one that's great.
I'm so glad I found Reid's Cleaners! Teresa is super attentive, my clothes always come back on time and I'm never overcharged (something Jack Brown did to me more than once). Reid's will count your clothes and give you a pick-up receipt BEFORE you drop off your clothes - something not all cleaners will do. I'm a loyal customer!

Let me start by saying my FIRST and only trip to this place has been an absolute nightmare. If I could give 0 stars I would, but yelp does not allow you to do so.
I brought 13 items to this location for dry cleaning, 6 of which were damaged. Yes, I said 6 items, aka over 50% of what I brought them. My buttons were literally boiled and coming apart in pieces. After going back and forth picking up and dropping off clothes for repairs, I finally asked for a refund. After being told that I was to receive such refund, I show up to pick up my check on the day promised and am told it's not there

I've been to Reid's twice now. The first time was pretty typical. You drop the cleaning off and they tell you when to pick it up which is usually longer than you think it should take. I figure all dry cleaning companies are like this. A great mystery on how it works and how it could take so long. My second journey though was enough to make me not want to ever go back. I dropped of a new suit jacket to get the sleeves shortened a bit. They told me the alteration would take 3 days. I got a call on the 3rd day saying the lady was out and it would take 2 extra days. I go to this Reid's about once every 1-2 weeks and average probably $60/visit. We have our work clothes cleaned here, so primarily men's button-down shirts and women's blouses, with pencil skirts and slacks sprinkled in.
I haven't personally experienced the rude service described in some of the reviews (I'm always greeted promptly, and the employees always offer to carry my clothes out to my car), but I have noticed a considerable decline in the quality of the cleaning over the last few months.

For the most part I have no issues here and they get my clothes cleaned and usually are fairly quick. You have to request for next day service if not it's two days to pick up your clothes.
Service isn't too bad they have had some turnover with the people who work the counter so they aren't as good as they were before.
The management does remember me though however so I guess that's pretty good.

Reid's has been my go-to place for dry cleaning shirt, slacks, and anything else that needs it. I've been consistently sticking with them for several years, and so far that means they've been doing just what the customer asked - - quality and execution.
This is one of the primary locations I visit since it's conveniently closest to I-35 and a 5 min detour when I'm commuting north or south. Been using Reid's for years because they have yet to damage or cause any problems with my clothes, and they always meet the quoted time. Also have done some small fixes and alterations. People are always friendly and I get in/out very quickly.
Took away a star becuase the price is quite a bit higher than other cleaners.
