I have been a member of our exceptional team since 2001. I came to the practice with over 6 years of business management experience. While growing up in Lansing I attended Lansing Catholic Central and went on to pursue a nursing/business degree from Lansing Community College. I recently graduated as a Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Management.

I have always enjoyed the health care profession and working with people. I chose to become a dentist because I enjoy not only the science of dentistry, but also the artistic side of this field. I take great joy in creating a beautiful smile for my patients. I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1981 and immediately joined my father in Grand Rapids at our Burton Street office.
From a young age, I have always been drawn to dentistry. I loved the idea of working closely with people and being a valuable part of their health care. I also deeply enjoy the artistic side of restorative dentistry, in following nature's forms to help restore beauty and function to a smile. It is my belief that great dentistry is both science and art.

Just started being a patient at Bander Dental and so far I am extremely happy with how everything is going! The Bander Dental Group has made going to dentist as comfortable as it could possibly be. The entire staff- from the front desk’s friendly greetings to the hygienist and technicians to the dentists themselves- everyone is kind, sociable, and GENTLE. I often doze off when I’m in the chair- which is a testament to how relaxing they have made their dental practice. If you’re looking for a new dentist I highly recommend the Bander group!
