Services
Seattle Yacht Club is incorporated for the purpose of encouraging yachting and boating of all kinds, and the development of the recreational marine advantages of the Pacific Northwest. From its shabby beginning at a rickety boathouse dock, Seattle Yacht Club has prevailed over the rough seas of wars and endured the battering winds of economic storms.
Seattle Yacht Club's Mainstation is located on Portage Bay at 1807 East Hamlin Street, Seattle WA, 98112, just north of the 520 bridge across Lake Washington and south of University of Washington. For members and guests with limited mobility, please use the circular drive at the main entrance to the Club off of East Hamlin Street.
Seattle Yacht Club offers both casual dining in the Marine Room and fine dining in the Ward Room. Use of our dining rooms are restricted to SYC members and guests. For SYC's definition of 'guests', please visit the Guest Information page. The Ward Room is one of the Seattle area's highly regarded dining rooms.
Seattle Yacht Club is nationally and internationally recognized as one of the world's premier yacht clubs. With a very active and large membership it is imperative to have a highly talented and dedicated crew to ensure great membership value. Our crew exemplifies professionalism, respect, and integrity, and in doing so provides a fun, engaging, and rewarding atmosphere.
The Member Discount Program provides an opportunity for businesses to build brand awareness and loyalty among the nearly 5,000 members of Seattle Yacht Club by offering members discounts and additional benefits for the use of their products and services.

Once a discount is approved by the Sponsorship Committee, the business is featured in a Binnacle article addressing the business, its products and services, relevance to the members, and the type of discount being offered. The details of the discounts are presented on the Member Discount Program page a web page only visible to logged-in SYC members.

It may be a private club, but certainly worth joining if you enjoy boating, good food, friendly staff and want to meet other likeminded people (not to mention the other amenities like out stations across the Puget Sound)

Really a wonderful time. Just waiting outside the door members walking in greeted me with a warm hello. Even as a guest the staff treats you like you own the place. A very relaxing environment to sit and enjoy good food and time with friends.

Was brought here by a close friend and member. The building is a historical site and very cool to peruse around inside. All the old nautical memorabilia was fascinating to take in. There are two restaurants there for members and their guests. The upstairs casual dining area serves solid standard faire while the downstairs steakhouse is a bit more scaled up. The true benefit of membership here lies in several boating properties around the sound that only members can use. When my time comes, I'll definitely be joining.
