Our reef dives are mostly within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary or Pennekamp State Park which are protected areas that offer opportunity for encounters with turtles, southern stingrays, goliath groupers, and more.
Your safety and comfort are our priority. That's why Ocean Divers maintains the youngest and fastest customized dive fleet in Key Largo. Being the closest running distance to the reefs provides an efficient and comfortable ride while you enjoy the sights or prep your equipment. Other amenities include photo rinse bucket and camera stations, showers with shampoo and conditioner, operating marine head, and fresh cold drinking water.

Arriving on-time is extremely important. Please arrive no later than the time noted on your reservation to check-in at the upstairs office. This allows our Captains to give a mandatory safety briefing, gives you time to properly set up your gear, and respects other paying passengers who have arrived on time and are anxious to dive.

Poor judgement and unethical, unsafe now
I have dove with Ocean divers for 30 years. When the Captain Crunch couldn't get it's engine started, I was the one who used my dive knife to jump the starter to get us in.
That was before the Captain Crunch sank out on Molassas Reef obviously.
Now, one of their captains, made the decision to anchor their boat on top of my fishing boats anchor ball and drop his dive ladder onto my anchor. Divers were put into the water with my chum bag while we were fishing which is not the safest thing to do.

It was good service and their scuba diving boat was great and comfortable. The skipper and crew were respectful and professional. Their price was very reasonable. Without our knowledge, their hidden gratuity fee $20.00 was already added. It is up to you to tip extra but be warned that your skipper and his crew will not help you picking up your fins before you reboard at the end of your scuba diving. It is your responsibility to bring your fins with yourself getting onboard after diving. That was bit negative but above of all it was good service. We didn't bother to tip extra because we already

Absolutely phenomenal experience with the staff and crew from Ocean Divers/Rainbow Reef. My group did 13 dives with them and they all were great! From the boats and equipment to the people and knowledge of the area, everything was first rate. Every crew we had enhanced each trip and made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend the whole operation to any one diving in the area, and look forward to using them again.

Great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the keys! This was our first ocean dive (Open water certification level), and our dive master (Lou), dive guide (Alicia) and captain (Travis) did a perfect job of assisting is and keeping everyone organized and safe. They made sure our gear was setup properly, assisted with getting in and out of the water safely, guiding us to the best places on molasses reef, and kept a fun atmosphere on the boat!

Awesome and professional operation with staff that have a romantic passion for what they do. Alisia who was my dive instructor and dive buddy was extremely knowledgeable on aquatic life around us giving me full bios on anything I asked and I didn't know. My safety for future dives and making sure I not not understood the hazards in diving but also how do get out of a bad situation without panicking was here number one concern. Scuba Girl Power ! My husband and daughter dove 7 dives with Ocean Divers over the 2017 holiday season. I dove one dive (sadly only one) because of illness, but still want to share our experience(s) because we all recommend this dive shop.
Husband = 1,000 dives / Wife = almost 500 / Daughter = 50 or so.

I cannot say enough amazing things about OD. I'm new in town and recently got back into diving and have 'shopped around'. There are other lovely shops but OD is my favorite. First, I'm a single diver and a guide is included- yes you share this person but everyone I've had has managed to memo novice divers while making it interesting for an almost advanced diver like me at the same time. I have yet to meet a crew member who isn't awesome from the office to the boat captain. Most important to me is they care greatly about conservation so no 'poking wildlife&apos

Great Experience! Logan was an excellent guide balancing safety with the overall dive experience. Chelsea provided excellent service as 1st mate and was attentive to our needs on-board. Overall, we were very pleased with the diving and service and will come back again to enjoy the diving at Key Largo. There are plenty of choices in Key Largo and Ocean Divers is at the top.

This was my third time diving with Ocean Divers and let me tell you, they are WONDERFUL. Dani was a terrific dive guide, pointing out all the cool stuff I would have missed otherwise (which, btw they have free dive guides on every dive) and just taking really good care of all of us in general. Rachel gave me some great tips about my BCD that allowed me to drop 2 lb of weight on my second dive, and Travis got us there and back safely despite the (in my mind) rough conditions. And the sliced oranges after your dives to get the saltwater taste out of your mouth are a nice touch also. All of my dive

I was in Key Largo diving for the week and the operator I was using couldn't seem to get me on a deeper dive or to the Spiegel Grove all week so I talked to a few of the Ocean Divers staff one night while at Sharky's eating and they told me about a smaller group going so I came in and signed up.
The office staff were great and friendly, super helpful. The boat was large and well stocked for the trip, they provided site maps and our guide was well prepared and carried an extra tank because it was deep in the event someone got in trouble.

I dive a few times a month and have been diving with them for over five years. Great crew, good boats, and a well run operation. I've done at least 100 dives with them and never had an issue, and always a good time. They service all the major dive spots out of Key Largo. They have a full shop, all rentals, nitrox, lessons, and you can store your gear there when on vacation.

We did Discover Scuba(for first timers) last weekend with them. Our trainers Dani and Alisia were very professional and did a great job. Since this was our first time, we had no idea about scuba. Our trainers did a commendable job while training us in the pool and when we were actually doing it in the ocean. Couple of my friends got sea sickness when out boat sailed to the location. Our trainers were very understanding and encouraging during that time. They wanna make sure you get the service that you paid for. They charge 250$ which includes gratuity and tax. I drove down from Canada. More than an avid diver , I did four days of diving with ocean diver including night dive. In that time I was out with just about all of the staff. Safety was Paramount. Each and every dive briefing was very clear and detailed. Excellent guides in the water. My nitrox mixes were bang on every day. The staff were extremely Pleasant at all times. The boats are nicely equipped and laid out. They exceed Coast Guard requirements . Very simple entry and exit points with ample assistance on both. I had a great two tank reef dive with this company. I reserved my trip online with a small deposit and check in the day of was very easy.
The dive boat was clean and well organized the crew (the two Lou's and Rachel as a dive guide) were great. They were helpful and friendly. I felt at ease and in good company around them.
I appreciated that the captain made a judgement call to go to a different dive site when the anticipated one had too strong of a current.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish.

Awesome experience! Can't say enough great things about the crew. We had Gavin, Rachel and Richard- hoping I remembered them correctly! The crew was super engaging and you could tell they all love their jobs. My husband and I went for snorkeling but I couldn't hang the whole time so I spent the next stop on the boat and with the driver Gavin, he was so down to earth and after telling him how much my son loves the ocean he gave me some books to give him!

This is the BEST company for diving!! We got open water certified with Logan and we could not have had a better experience! Logan was the best teacher and was so nice and patient. Every single person we spoke with was kind, encouraging, and helpful. They made sure we were always safe and having fun. We cannot wait to come back and dive with them again!! So happy!!!

Best choice for diving classes. Everyone was great and super helpful. Rachel is exactly the instructor everyone hopes for. She is very positive and makes everyone in the class feel like they are not complete noobs that are messing up all over the place.
The crew in the dive boat was funny even if we all were too tired to laugh. Luckily that did not hinder their enthusiasm and they had us cracking up all the way back to land and after.

I dove two days with these guys. The staff seemed pretty cool and friendly. They had the best prices for diving that I could find ($65 for 2-tank boat dive with online discount mentioned, normally $70). So make sure you call in and mention you saw their online discount...they knock off $5. A complete gear rental package was $30...pretty good equipment except for the fins. Their boat is docked right next to their office so no long haul there.
They usually have 2 dives per day...a morning and midday departure. Being from the west coast, I needed the sleep time and opted for the afternoon departure

I had an absolutely awesome experience with Ocean Divers. I had completed the PADI Open Water Certification Course in a classroom and confined training in Maryland and only needed to complete my Open Water portion to be certified. Divers Direct pointed me to Ocean Divers and they were great with scheduling my dives with an instruction. Dawn was responsive, prompt and even helped me book a hotel near-by (literally right next door) at a great rate. My dive buddy and I had booked two days of diving with Ocean Divers well in advance. The idea was to dive the Duane and the Spiegel Grove on two consecutive days. I got a call from the dive shop a few days before we were due to arrive, telling me that the schedule had been changed and that we couldn't dive the Duane. I sent an e-mail to Terry Schaefer, one of the supervisors and received a response within a couple of hours. She and Connie, the manager of the dive shop, made arrangements for me to dive the Duane with another shop and to dive the Spiegel Grove with them the following day. This

Great experience with Ocean Divers. The boats are well equipped and very nice folks, captain, dive master, first matte and staff onboard very knowledgeable and pleasant. Great trips to the artificial reef shipwrecks off the coast of Key Largo and beautiful snorkling. The water was clear and we saw many fish and turtles. Prices are reasonable.
