Quiescence Diving Services began in 1977 with a vision - escape the crowds and provide a hassle-free dive experience. Forty years later, we continue to operate with a maximum of six people on each of our boats. Our captains cater our Scuba Diving and Snorkeling trips to the needs of the customer, focusing trip locations on the desire of the customer instead of a pre-set schedule.
What you might see: Nurse sharks, Caribbean Reef sharks, Southern stingrays, Spotted Eagle rays, moray eels, large schooling parrotfish, angelfish, goliath groupers. What you might see: Nurse shark, Caribbean Reef shark, Southern stingray, Yellow stingray, Yellowhead Jawfish, Goliath Grouper, green, hawksbill, and loggerhead sea turtles.
Who you can see: Goliath Groupers, barracuda, Southern stingrays in the sand, moray eels, schooling gamefish, and angelfish. History: The Spiegel Grove was named after President Rutherford B. Hayes's Ohio estate and was launched in 1955. She was later cleaned and sunk in 2002 in 130-feet of water near Dixie Shoals in Key Largo.
Quiescence offers PADI and SSI scuba diving instruction, from non-certification discovery dive courses, certification courses, referrals, and specialties. Our small class sizes allow for maximum comfort and learning ability. With us, you are not just another number. We believe in putting in the time it takes to make you a safe, competent, and comfortable diver.

We made memories to last a lifetime! Steve took us out to about five spots to snorkel on our charter. Loved that he went at our pace.. just moving in to another spot when we were ready. He made a point of letting us know about each area and then letting us know how navigate it. He was so chill and knowledgeable.

We have been coming to the keys for years, this dive shop was recommended to me and I had never been here before. We figured we would give it a shot, I can say that everyone there was great and that we will no longer be patronizing any other dive shop in the future. Quiescence is our new home!

What an amazing experience from the first phone call. I called to schedule a trip, first time my teenage boys diving in the keys, and Katie-Lauren answered. She was super nice and listened to my needs and made recommendations on what we should do. She found us a dive master within a few hours, Diana, to spend 4 dives with us. When we got to the dive shop it was a very easy experience from analyzing our nitrox tanks to getting rental gear. They brought all the gear down to the boat and loaded it up for us. They set our gear up on the boat, concierge style. Our boat captain Gavin was awesome telling

We took a 4 hour run with Capt. Gavin on Q3. This was an outstanding experience! This operation has the perfect balance of professionalism and enjoyment. We were told about the reefs, the marine life , currents and what to expect. Capt knew exactly were to drop us on multiple sites. Highly recommend doing a trip with Quiescence.

The only reason I gave 5 stars, is because I couldn't give 10!!! Amazing, friendly, helpful staff from the time we checked in until we got off the boat at the end of the day. I love the not crowded boats, and not rushed feeling. Captain was very knowledgeable about the sites and conditions. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a perfect day of diving.
