Rafael Coelho, PE earned his bachelor degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the State University of the North Fluminense, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In Brazil, he worked at the offshore company Prosenge Engenharia serving as a Mechanical Engineer supervising manufacturing process and quality of products thru non-destructive tests and weld inspections required per Petrobras (Petroleum multinational corporation) standards and per Welding Technology Brazilian Foundation.

I had an opportunity to know Rafael via my structure engineer for medium sized project when we needed to add mechanical unit to the existing rooftop space. I can not imagine the project would be have been completed without him. Not only addressing the issues in timely manner but also honoring the original proposal fee even though he spent more hours than billed. Rafael will be my go to engineer moving forward to all my mechanical needs.

Rafael is an experienced engineer who is super easy to work with. He has great ideas and insight to our jobs and always has creative ideas when problems arise. He is very professional and always meets deadlines. Rafael understands code compliance in our area and is prompt to communicate via email or text.
