Veterinary medicine not only deals with the medical issues of our furry friends but their mental health and behavior as well. Behavior issues can cause additional stress for pets and their families which lead to medical issues and vice versa. While Dr Register and Dr. Couch are not board-certified veterinary behaviorists (there are only 3 in the state of FL and 80 in the US), they both have a strong interest in behavior.
Dental Care - Make it a root-ine! It's a fact that almost 85% of dogs and cats over the age of 3 have gingivitis and tartar issues that require professional dental care. Similar to humans, four hours after eating, bacteria, saliva, and food can start to accumulate on your pet's teeth. This is the formation of plaque.

Dr. Register was a God Send when my dog Cesar was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowl Disease and none of the treatment prescribed by the internal medicine Doctor from Tampa Bay Veterinary Services produced visible results. Sad to say this but I literally spent thousands of dollars for medicine and inconclusive testing that ultimately, did not do anything for my dog. Thank God, I knocked on Dr. Register's door and my dog got much better with the treatment she formulated for his condition. Would recommend Dr. Linda Register to anyone who truly cares for the well being of their pets.

Was excited to establish care for our dog here after recently relocating back to the area. When booking the appointment, I was assured I could be present for the exam because I know other vets are doing curb side only and that is not something I was comfortable with for an initial visit.
My wife and I get to the office and it’s curbside only...

Nice caring staff. Appreciate the thoughtful care from the vet and her staff.
Was disappointed when I took Lucy to get fixed at a less expensive alternative. East +West were three times more expensive. Easy West would not confirm she had a heart worm negative test. I had to pay for an additional test. I thought that was inconsiderate, considering I am not wealthy. Just not nice. I've reconsidered and will take Lucy to another Vet. ACT, Tampa spayed Lucy. Inexpensive and excellent care. They do all types of Vet services at reasonable prices.

Dr. Register is just great! I love that she balances both Eastern and Western medicine. She cares about your animals, and handles them with compassion. The techs and staff are friendly. (Joy is amazing!) Everyone is always smiling! My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE being there - even my "stranger danger" lab becomes out going. Definitely our "other family doctor." 😊

They are very expensive, have a high turnover of staff, they get annoyed if you ask what happened to an employee that you trusted with your animals. I was brought into an office by the manager Joy a 30 something young person who thinks she knows it all stating I should not ask staff members what happened to an employee that I and my animals were used to. I told her I am the voice of my animals and I want to know what's going on because I am their voice. I was a loyal customer for years even though it put me into the poor house. They offered a rewards program where you can get gift cards etc

I've been using East West Animal Hospital since moving to Tampa June 2017. I've been very impressed with the service I've received so far. It's clear that from the receptionist to the technicians, Dr. Register employees only professional caring people. I'd use this Vet even if I had to drive an hour to get there. I want only the best for my 2 pups. East West Animal Hospital has delivered so far! I'd give them 7 stars if I could!

We love Dr Register. Piast wasn't walking on his back leg, instead of automatically wanting an expensive x-ray she felt around and prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs with pain meds to keep him comfortable with a two week followup appt. He is much better now. The staff is always wonderful as well.
She prescribed the cold Lazer procedure that I am sure helped.

Dr. Register and her staff are wonderful. We are so grateful to be with such a compassionate team of people. They have hours that work great for any schedule (they have evening options available). I would highly recommend East West Animal Hospital. I hear stories of people going to multiple clinics to find one that they like. We are so lucky to have found them first and we know our 7 month old Goldendoodle is in great hands!

My boxer and I have had awesome experiences with Dr. Linda! I brought my dog in because there was something wrong with her eye. Dr. Linda and her staff explained everything it could be, what could be done, and even provided an estimate detailing everything from treatment for her eye to heartworm prevention and spaying prior to doing anything but look her over and obtain as much history as possible. I did not feel any pressure to have additional services done, and was even told what could be put off and which were necessary for her eye. Everyone who works here is always so polite, and I love that

I'll start at the beginning; about a month ago we took in an 8 year old lab from a friend, this was our first dog so we looked online for a vet with high reviews which brought us to East-West. We brought the lab in for a checkup and the staff was great and loved him, we received a summary of his visit, including vaccine history, weight, etc. When my boyfriend told Dr Register that we were getting a Shar Pei in a couple of weeks she was extremely negative about the breed, from their potential health issues to their temperament. We did our research and we knew the risks,so we paid top dollar

Mocha had a vet appointment today for the first time at East West Animal Hospital. He said he was super comfortable here, and the place was very clean, and welcoming. He met with Dr. Linda Register and her vet tech, and said he had fun playing with them, they were super personable, and they were very clear and concise with communicating with him and us. They answered any questions, gave suggestions, and he was quite sensitive. He felt that he could come back to them again.
