The internet can be an incredibly useful tool; however, it remains the wild west of information. It's important to be very careful about the veterinary information we use. There are many kinds of posts, like blogs or articles, that can be written by authors with absolutely NO background in animal care or veterinary medicine.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
Our personal relationships with you and your family members are highlighted in our Veterinary Wellness/Preventative Services. Our appointments are longer and more detailed, with plenty of time to discuss any habits or concerns. Many times, we are able to identify an abnormality much sooner, just by listening to you.

Highly recommended! Vet and staff treat my pets like family. Always honest and they have more than earned my trust by providing straightforward information and excellent care. Up front about pricing and options. Please don't hesitate to give them a call!

So took my dog here to have her spade, everything seemed ok, dog came home rested all afternoon and was monitored the whole time never being left along to access her incisions. She got up and walked a couple of feet and we notice blood coming from her abdomen. What you see in the photo only tells part of the story, a towel was used to stop the bleeding and was extremely saturated with blood. We rushed her to the Vet ER where the bleeding continued all over the place and they had to wrap her up like you see in the attached photo. The ER had her monitored overnight and we called Van Dyke the next

Do not use this vet. Our cavalier king charles spaniel broke its leg. The doctor failed to set it properly nor did she give us instruction on how to care for it. Then the staff was rude and criticised me and my wife as if it was our fault. The doctor was a b***h - she did not stop her staff from their critical remarks in our presence and she herself made us feel like terrible owners. We RAN back to Dr. Jones at Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital. At least they know what they are doing and actually CARE about you and your pet.

Unfortunately I noticed a growth in my dogs mouth and called for an exam. Because of fear from a virus no one is allowed inside so I waited while the exam was completed. The vet came out and was honest with me. She dx cancer and with my dogs age surgery wasn't recommend...... Another office might have encouraged many more tests and blood work trying to get as much money as they could. However I'm grateful for the honest diagnosis and compassion they showed me.

I will never take my King Charles to any other place. Not only are they consistent with his care but, very caring in general. Before Astro went here he was at two previous vets. The first one everything was a different price at the end of the visit and was never consistent with pricing. When I asked how much it would cost to get him fixed she explained that every dog is different and would have to figure out a fee schedule. So I relocated him to another office. Once again I had issues the facility was not clean, the dogs did not look happy, and Astro was very reluctant to go with the vet tech so

I brought my new puppy in with instructions from the breeder-friend that gave him to us. The vet did not want to read the instruction even thought our dog has a gene mutation and some medication would be dangerous for him. When I asked the vet to read the half page with instructions she asked me: Why should I? I replied because I am asking you to please take a look so I can feel that you have all the info. She refused and told me I have to trust her and she proceeded to try to sell me an expensive gene test for my puppy that the breeder's vet had already provided to us.

This place is awesome! They have extended late hours if needed. And they work with you if your in a financial bind. They are pretty expensive in price compared to the local shelters but worth it for their quality, cleanliness and love they show your fur baby! This is my furbaby's main vet for almost 4 years! He loves the girls there and they him too. Check them out if your in the neighborhood!
