Circle of Life Animal Hospital (COLAH) is a fixture in the Tampa community, having first opened our doors in 1998. We are dedicated to providing the community, our COLAH Family, the best veterinary care available to our clients and their pets. We promise to listen to your concerns in order to tailor personalized treatments that work with the lifestyle you and your pet have.
We provide personalized care for pets who suffer from chronic pain, such as pet arthritis, working closely with you to help determine their needs and the best course of action for treatment. We have a state-of-the-art 4th generation. At Circle of Life Animal Hospital in Tampa, we make pet dentistry a high priority because we understand how important it is to each pet's overall health.
Our veterinarians at Circle of Life Animal Hospital love working closely with their clients to give their pets truly personalized care. Dr. Palma is the owner of Circle of Life Animal Hospital. She completed both her undergraduate education and veterinary school at Michigan State University, graduating from veterinary school in 1985.
The staff at Circle of Life Animal Hospital is made of dedicated animal lovers who care for your pets as if they were our own! Melissa has been a Credentialed Veterinary Technician at Circle of Life Animal Hospital since 1999. She has been a part of the Veterinary Team for over 30 years.
Melissa graduated with Honors from St Petersburg College in 1991 with an Associate in Science degree in Veterinary Technology now known as the Veterinary Nursing Program.Upon passing the Veterinary Technician National and State Board Exams in 1991 she became a Credentialed Veterinary Technician. She maintained her Credentials for 28 years by attending National Veterinary Conferences annually as well as attending Webinars.

Lifestage Pet Wellness Exams are an extremely important part of your pet's healthcare. The needs of a puppy or kitten are much different than that of a mature adult and are even more different than the needs of a kitty or doggy senior citizen! Personalized pet wellness exams and care are not the norm in veterinary medicine, but they are what we practice here at Circle of Life Animal Hospital.

Had an amazing experience, I had the feeling you guys were working to make sure my Puppy was ok instead to figure it out how you can bring a high price bill Wich it's been my complaint with other alike type of business. The service my dog Oliver received here was excellent. Lisa aswell as the other staff that worked here were all friendly, informative and attentive to all the questions and concerns i had, and even followed up with me the next day to make sure my little buddy was doing okay! Thank you all so much for your time and care you gave for Oliver and I.

Went in today, was my first time at the vet, thinking it was going to be ridiculously expensive and hard to get through. It was the complete opposite of my expectations. They were very friendly, Miss Lisa even offered me a drink for the road, and took very good care of my cat. The price was not nearly as much as I thought, and I even added on more because I just wanted whatever was gonna be best for my cat, and it was still cheaper than my original thought. It was quiet, relaxed, and all around great service. And Cloe is not too mad about getting shots and ate her antibiotics right up.

I had two kittens (Holmes and Watson) that I adopted from a local rescue organization. Post adoption I discovered that both were severely Ill and needed urgent care. Circle of Life was incredibly helpful and gave me everything I needed to care for them. After weeks of syringe feeding food that I blended with a coffee grinder and daily medication I’m happy to say that both my boys are healthy and growing. Special thanks to Lisa for helping so much along the way and everyone on the staff who assisted. Will be a regular here as long as I’m in the area.

We took our cat Little Boy to Circle of Life for a mosquito bite allergy. Lisa was very helpful and our overall experience with Circle of Life was great. The veterinarian was very thorough in explaining Little Boy’s problem and treatment. I would definitely recommend Circle of Life to anyone in need of a good veterinarian.

Sylvia and the entire office staff were welcoming and friendly the day of my dog’s appointment. They greeted her and gave her treats in the lobby. David was super informative and handled my dog really well. Dr. Holley was super knowledgeable and very thorough with my dog. Fair prices!

This has been my go-to veterinary hospital since Dr. Palma was Dr. Joyce...about 21 years now. Dr. Palma is patient and really takes the time to ensure you understand your options for your fur babies' care, but is never pushy. Lisa and all the other vet techs are always caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took such great care of my doggy, Shiva, for her 15 years. Now they're taking care of my kitties, Tallulah and Max. Scheduling is easy. You can request an appointment on their website and they get back to you quickly either by phone or email. On my last visit, I saw they added a Keurig, bottled

I'm so glad I found this vet! Both of my dogs have vet issues, but they love Circle of Life. They take their time with each animal to keep them comfortable. Both of the vets are great. Prices are fair and comparable to other offices in the area. Melissa, Elise, and Sylvia were fantastic. Highly recommend!
