I was prescribed a boot by a podiatrist for a partially torn Achilles. I have been billed by DME Living Well, or rather they have billed my insurance company, using an incorrect code. I have made 9 phone calls regarding the issue in an attempt to get the correct code used. Remarkably, the people at DME Living Well are asking ME for the correct code; you know, the patient, the one who is NOT in the medical insurance or durable medical equipment business. Unfortunately for all Americans, absurdetees such as this will not be fixed because Congress has no idea how much we suffer at the hands of the

My husband was discharged from the hospital following a knee replacement in 11/2018 with a walker from this company. One year later we received a bill from DME living well marked "Past Due". I called and spoke with Coralee who informed me they were just getting caught up on billing because of a change in computer system. I discovered they never sent the invoice to our insurance company. I was assured they would do so. In December 2019 we received a collection notice for the same amount because DME Living Well had turned this over to a collection agency AND HAD NOT SENT IT TO OUR INSURANCE as they

Do not accept medical devices from hospitals that deal with DME Living Well because you will be charged way more than the retail price and your insurance probably won't cover it. They even invoice you more than the price listed on their own web page.
Postscript.
Just received a call from a DME Living Well representative who offered a full refund on the crutches I received and didn't use (I declined). He said they would look into improving the process when an Emergency Room supplies medical devices, explaining whether it's covered by your insurance and how much you will be billed.

As previous poster said, if you go to urgent care that uses them you will pay a pretty penny. Tried to call and speak with them, they don't care. I was given a shoulder immobilizer that the Ortho specialist said was pointless for a broken wrist. Now will have to pay $200 because this company is out-of-network. Sling at CVS is $9 and the same one they gave me is $20 online. I could have went to the ED and paid a $150 co-pay and everything would have been covered. Seems like a very shady company overcharging this much if you ask me.

Incredible and personal service. DME living well provided the best quality wheelchair for my grandmother, shipped directly to our doorstep via USPS within 2 days!
The kind staff also informed us of the variety of diabetic supplies they carry, my grandmother being diabetic, we will definitely be returning in the future for all her medical needs!

DME Living Well has great customer service. They greet you as soon you come in and are there to help you. Great selection on scrubs and they even have a sale rack. Not only they have scrubs but a great variety of HME supplies. They have hospital beds, wheelchairs, transfer tub bench, walkers, cane, nebulizers. etc... If they don't have the item at their warehouse they can order the item and have it shipped to your home. Shipping was pretty fast.

The ladies upfront were friend, and greeted me when I came through the door. My biggest problem with this place was that there was a severe lack in sizes across the board. No matter what brand of scrubs I looked into I found mostly smalls or larges. Everything else was in short supply(where are the XS, M, XL, etc?) . Maybe I came right before a restocking day and they just happened to be out of everything, I am not sure. I will go back again at another time to see if this was a one time thing, or a consistent problem.
