When you hire Newtown Chimney to inspect and certify your chimney, you get a CSIA certified technician with the knowledge, experience credentials to make sure your chimney is safe. The scope of work performed in the inspection or evaluation of a fireplace, stove or other venting system had previously been left to the discretion of the chimney service technician.

I have to say I was very concerned over picking a company to install my chimney liner, WELL....Ben the owner of Newtown Chimney is the most conscientious, hard working, do it right or don't do it type of person. He was on time, made sure everything was covered, and cleaned up after work was done. I would highly recommend him and his work. And to top it off he's a very nice polite, honest person, who really knows his business.

We bought our home over the summer and as it got cold we wanted our fireplace inspected and had noticed some cold drafts and occasional water dripping into the fireplace.
Ben came out in December and did an inspection, and gave us the OK to use the fireplace, but said that the draft and water issues would be fixable with a new damper at the top of the chimney (we had an old cast iron damper at the bottom) and having the outside of the chimney sealed so moisture would not soak through. He gave an estimate for both and said that if/when we were interested, to call.
We have really enjoyed using
