Our full service dispensary offers a range of quality spectacles in all the latest styles. In addition to well eye exams, we care for patients with unique needs such as infant aphakia, keratoconus, and pellucid marginal degeneration.
We also prescribe specialty contact lens designs based on visual needs. Urgent care assessments are available. We have a network of physicians we can refer to if more specialized care is needed.

With so many great reviews, what's one more? But it's earned. The doctor and office live up to the hype, and I'm so glad I visited. I loved the experience from scheduling to walking out. They go out of their way to make it clean, safe, and comfortable. And, I've never been to an eye doctor's office where they don't pressure you bye from them at the end of a visit. Thank you!!

I just finished my first visit with Dr. Tang and OH MY GOSH HE IS AMAZING! I had such a wonderful visit that I couldn't wait to leave a review. I literally just left his office and I'm sitting in my car to write this. Starting with the receptionist, she was such a sweetheart - very patient with me from scheduling, getting insurance info, guiding me to their location, checking in, and checking out.
Then there's Dr. Tang, who I swear, is like a ray of sunlight. He made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. He definitely took his time and was VERY INFORMATIVE about everything he was

I just finished my first appointment at Blink Optometric and all I can say is WOW! Dr Tang and his staff are customer service at its finest. This was by far the most thorough eye exam I've ever had and Dr Tang really took the time to help me understand what was going on with my eyes.
Being in the medical field I can truly appreciate the care and precautions he has taken during this new COVID world. You can tell that he really cares for his patients and their safety.

Dr. Kelvin Tang was great when he gave me my eye exam for new glasses. However, the optician selling the new glasses did a poor job fitting it. In fact, she just gave me the glasses, and I had to ask for her to fit it. This is the first time in 30 years of having glasses I need to ask to fit it. Wow!!!!!!

Dr. Tang is one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He's incredibly kind and thoughtful, and he explains everything he does as he does it--the way that good doctors do. He also puts you at ease. Have a question? Just ask!

Dr. Tang is the best optometrist I've ever had. He is so genuine and truly wants to get to know his patients. He explained everything very thoroughly and took his time with my exam - I didn't feel like a number at all. I'm glad I found his practice nearby and have even signed up the rest of my family to see him too!!!

Came across Blink optometrist during a little hard contact lenses emergency. My brother lost his eye contact plunger and can not take out the hard contacts without the plunger. I was calling around Walgreen, Walmart, CVS and Target for plungers but no where had them in stock. So then I went calling optometry offices in the neighborhood. Dr Tang is so extremely patient and helpful. He knew exactly what I was talking about and said I could come into the office anytime to pick up a contact lenses plunger.

This place was great. But not anymore. Communication with the changed front desk staff is challenging. So much to explain. My last order of contacts from them did not get me a clear vision on my right eye and it was very uncomfortable. I had to use the old glasses to avoid wearing contacts. The working hours are only Mon- Wed now and they don't answer your calls anymore, even if after I have left voice message to call me back.

My husband and both came here for the first time and this is absolutely the best eye doctor experience we have both ever had. Dr. Tang explains everything as he does it which is just awesome and very reassuring. He even wipes down all the equipment in front of you to make sure you see him to do it which reassures me that everything is done correctly and clean. We are both making Blink our go-to eye doctor while we live in CA. Great experience, great doctor, great location. Highly recommended.

I had my best optometric experience at Blink in Walnut Creek located across the street from John Muir Hospital. They are friendly, caring about you as a patient and their setting is neat and efficient. Best of all the doctors have up to date educational experience in the field and use all brand new equipment for testing. You get the benefit of the latest technology. I own multiple pairs of eyewear and the lenses I purchased through Blink cost less and perform better than the much more expensive and highly rated eyewear stores in SF.

Dr. Tang, as promised, was attentive, professional, friendly, and knowledgable. He spent a good amount of time examining my eyes and even asked if I wanted a photo of each eye ball on my camera phone (Now I show that eyeball pic to my family to amuse them : )
The receptionist, Katie, was welcoming, responsive, and pleasant -- and even had her own business card. It really felt like she was an active part of the practice
