Yes, testing for Radon is the only way of telling how much is present and if remediation is necessary. We utilize E-perm canisters for short term Radon testing as part of the real estate transaction and for general informational purposes. There are no known safe levels of Radon gas and exposure to high levels over time can cause health issues.

Greg did the house inspection for the house we were selling. Very thorough and detailed. We really liked his report. When we bought our new house, we used the inspector our real estate agent recommended and we were not happy at all. We actually paid for Greg to come and do another inspection. He's really good and the company is incredibly responsive.

We were unable to travel to our new condo as construction was being completed, so we requested Dennis and Greg of Beltway Home Inspections to do the inspections for us. They were highly recommended by the realtor who sold our old house, so we had them do an early structural (prior to drywall closing) evaluation and a final inspection of equipment and finishes. The inspections were very thorough and complete; their report included photos of all problems found and recommendations for future maintenance. We were very pleased with their work!! We have been looking for a home for about 6 months. Thus far we have used them for two inspections. Both times Greg responded quickly and was available within a couple day. His report was very thorough, it includes pictures and recommendations of how soon to a problem need to be fixed. I thought the price was fair. My realtor had a inspector she works with who was less expensive, but the peace of mind of a job well done is worth every penny. I will use Beltway Home Inspection every
