SC Realty was founded in 2012 by Michael Chow (Principal Broker) and Eric Sacks (President.) Though the company is relatively new, we have nearly 40 years of combined experience selling and managing properties both Hawaii and on the mainland. From day one of renting a house through this company it has been a very frustrating experience. From the day we came to look at the house and trying to set up an appointment they kept beating around the bush and canceling appointments to view the house. Once we viewed the house he was pushy to make us leave and could not answer any of our questions. Eventually after signing the lease on the house and they would never answer calls or emails. We had to contact the owner directly if anything was wrong. The owner finally decided to drop the management company so now we rent directly through the owner

I cannot say enough good things about my property manager, Hedi Barrett. When my former pm company was let go by the owner, Hedi came on board and really got things done! Everything the former pm company couldn't be bothered with, important things too, like a new refrigerator, mold removal, small roof leak, 30 foot high papaya tree...Hedi got it done in less than two months! Hedi is wonderful! Hedi has understanding and compassion, she is a hard worker and returns calls/texts promptly. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their property manager! She's awesome!

I use SC Realty as a tenant, they provide a portal as one of their real estate services. Unfortunately the messages you leave regarding plumbing problems or a question about your sudden change in rent go only to the particular agent in charge of that listing. I've waited 2 months to get a call back from SC Realty about a problem with the Resident Manager in my building verbally harassing me. Apparently it's not important if it isn't $$ related.
UPDATE: I've left 5 messages in 2 months. The office is closed so no one is assigned to checking messages. Thank goodness it wasn

This is the worst property management experience imaginable. Where do I begin? When I selected SC realty and setup an initial meeting with Kendall Fukumoto I got the warm and fuzzy that I would be in good hands in terms of securing a tenant and moving forward. After signing with them, all of my showings and paperwork was handled by a new property manager who just started. I must say that he tried his hardest. I was asked if I would entertain a section 8 tenant in my home and my reply was yes depending on the applicant. To sum things up they secured a tenant without receiving a security deposit

We applied for a rental and then were told that the insurance wouldn't cover the number of occupants we had (3 occupants in a 2 bedroom rental). It is extremely frustrating as I just moved to the island and am trying to find a place for my family. Why did they take my application fee if they knew (or should have known) that we weren't going to be able to live in the rental? I am extremely disappointed. I have contacted them about getting my money back but they have not responded. Truly awful service. The agent's name was Chris (I don't remember his last name).

He is Certainly a right person I would recommend if you're looking to get a lot of honesty and great information before jumping into anything. Kendall definitely goes the extra mile in taking the time to help you understand all aspects that you need and would like to know, as far as questions or concerns that you may have.
