Through a process of computerized video capture, your movements are broken down at key points and analyzed for abnormalities of gait, asynchronous motion, muscle imbalance and potential pain sources.
We are able to isolate problem areas within motion patterns and begin the process of retraining the athlete to achieve balanced and efficient movement whether it is walking, running, cycling, or basic movements like stepping, jumping, landing, cutting and balance.Motion analysis allows us determine the how and why of injuries so that, together, we can get you back on the road, field, court or trail.

Many successful athletes do not know their proper training zones. If you don't train hard enough you typically will fail to meet your potential and you own expectations. Worse, if you are training above your proper zones you could over-train, burn out, or injure yourself. We are able to help you determine your limits so that you can train to your highest potential.
Stretching is an essential component to maintain optimal health. Proper stretching increases range of motion and flexibility, improves circulation, improves posture, and can relieve stress and pain. Assisted stretching, under the guidance of a trained professional, uses specific techniques to increase mobility and flexibility of a muscle or group of muscles.

Katie has been wonderful to work with. She is flexible, attentive, and encouraging. I couldn’t ask for a better personal trainer. I began working with her when I was seven months pregnant and she helped me get in shape after delivery as well. She and her staff are amazing.

Great atmosphere, very knowledgeable trainers, clean workspace. Katie has helped me a lot with pain management. I started with her with a cyst in my knee and pain from an old back injury. She has built me up to a level of fitness where I can run again and manage my pain levels, increasing my quality of life. 100% recommend.

Lauren is the best coach ever! She creates challenging workouts to maximize the limited time I have at the gym. She knows which exercises I love and the ones I hate. She integrates them both into the routine. She is aware of my injuries, recognizes when I am uncomfortable and adapts the workout immediately. Most importantly she makes the session fun, is positive, and very encouraging.
The gym is extremely clean. The equipment is in excellent shape. The overall environment is welcoming and accepting!

Fantastic team! It's about more than just exercising at Savannah Sport & Wellness. Katie Balthrop and her entire team are experts in their specialties and have a passion for helping others. Bethany is by far the best massage therapist I have ever used. I use her weekly for my back issues. She is able to zero in on the trigger points and the knowledge produce results. I recommend her highly for sports issues and where a professional is needed. She is professional, strong, and qualified in her field to help be part of a solution based regimen to get you where you want to be and achieve your goals.

I highly recommend Savannah sports and wellness. For the past two years I have been going there. Katie and her staff are very knowledgeable and client centered. It’s a friendly and comfortable environment to workout in. Katie has significantly helped me improve my running and stay on track. She’s a great trainer and very encouraging.
