We all have fond memories of our childhood "inner" scientist: watching spiders weave webs and earthworms wriggle into burrows, building towering skyscrapers with blocks or Tinker toys, trying to figure out if every snowflake really did have its own unique shape. Most of us had to make do with our basements and backyards as laboratories which are great places to start.
I am Club SciKidz co-founder, Sue Hagan. In 1972, at a very young age, I became a 'motherless daughter' when my mother, Shelby Jean, died at age 33 after routine surgery. I had two younger sisters and our lives were turned upside down for many years to follow. Our father suddenly became a single parent and had the tremendous task of raising three little girls by himself.
We recently lost a great member of our camp team, Buddy our Bloodhound Vet Camp Canine. In his six years of representing our Vet Camp, he touched hundreds of campers. He never wavered when twenty campers were poking him or all four of his legs were being bandaged at one time. We know he inspired our campers love of taking care of animals and maybe even influenced a career in Veterinary Sciences.
We believe that every child is a scientist and that we can make children even better scientists! Club SciKidz's 2021 Summer Camp season will offer over 50 summer day camp themes. We certainly have something for everyone! All of our hands-on National Science Standard and STEM education activities make science challenging and fun!
Please note that all campers MUST be fully potty trained before attending camp, and there is NO nap period. Due to licensing, we are unable to accommodate campers that require a nap. Our PreK-K camps can also be taken as a half day option, which may be ideal for younger campers and those new to a structured class setting.

One of the only camps open in person during the pandemic. Excellent cleaning and mask protocols, flexibility in changing camp dates and times, can easily contact the owners directly. Great, engaged and positive counselors who are trained well. My kid LOVED the programs Club SciKidz offered so much I signed him up for additional camps during the summer.

My daughter came home happy every single day of her camp this summer. They do so many experiments that they bring home. They gain relevant scientific knowledge while having fun. She was so excited on the ride back home that she couldn't stop talking about constellations, shooting stars, and so much more. The staff are all friendly, welcoming, professional. We loved it.

My daughter attends the after school science group at Clemens Crossing Elementary. I have been very pleased with this class. The instructor is full of energy, positive and knowledgeable. My daughter has loved the class and we will sign her up in the future.

Club Scientific Chesapeake offers all kinds of programs, but the one I'm reviewing is the one my son attended, which is for the Summer Camp of Camp Jurassic for ages 4-5 years old. I knew it was the perfect camp for my son since Camp Jurassic deals with dinosaurs and gemstones, both of which my son loves.

The camp staff seem to be very caring of the children and offer plenty of fun activities. My son was excited every day to go to camp (and it was his first time ever going to camp) and after each day he always brought home a variety of projects that they had worked on during the day which
