We are highly trained professional home inspectors serving the greater Austin and Round Rock areas. We are fully TREC licensed, and Also full members of interNACHI, the world's largest home inspector association.
Matt Quade joined Capital Area Home Inspections in 2017 and is licensed through the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Real Estate Inspector, and is an InterNACHI Certified Profesional Inspector as well. Matt comes with a wealth of construction knowledge and experience. He was a homebuilder for Lennar Homes then later Toll Brothers before joining the Round Rock Fire Department where he has served the community for 12 years.

I just recently purchased a home in Georgetown and hired Joel Mace from Capital Real to perform an inspection after framing, and right before the final walk. Joel was incredibly professional, diligent and friendly with my father and I and took the time to document nearly everything in the home and explain everything to me. His reports are very well detailed and easy to read, and includes photos of things he notices and documents so that the builder can find trouble areas easily from the document. Joel was very responsive and prompt with emails and meeting in person to go over the inspections. Thanks

I have now used this company for 3rd party house inspection for the second time, and I am extremely happy with their services. The first time I was buying a new house, they were recommended to me by my realtor. They did a fantastic job and were very thorough and detailed in their inspection and in the report. I was so happy with them the first time around that I specifically contacted them recently, 3 years later, to do another inspection for me on another new home I was buying. Highly recommend Joel and his company!!! I recently purchased my first home from a new builder and had no idea what to expect. If you are a homebuyer in the Austin area, Joel at Capital Area Home Inspections is a must call inspector prior to closing! Joel came out and inspected a new construction build I was scheduled to walkthrough the same day. His thorough inspection and keen eye for detail, along with professionalism, gave me a lot of peace-of-mind prior to closing and brought my attention to issues I wouldn't have been able to discern on my own. I was very happy with my experience with Joel at Capitol Area Home Inspections. We was easy to reach, very responsive, he communicated very clearly and professionally throughout the process. Setting a time for the inspection was made very easy. On the day of, he was punctual and incredibly thorough. My inspection report was very detailed and easy to read.
