Courtesy and integrity of an automotive service company is essential. Since we opened Gary's Auto Service and Transmission in 1982, we have always strived for excellence in these areas.

Transmissions Report

Since 1982 our specialty has been diagnosis and repair of automatic and manual transmissions and transaxles. We are one of the major suppliers of rebuilt transmissions to many auto repair centers in Cuyahoga, Medina and Lorain counties. Many of our patrons have used us for over 20 years. Most transmission problems involve minor repairs only.

I was recommended Gary’s by several people so I took a chance...I called as soon as they opened because of my transmission going out, their receptionist is the sweetest and she had me come in ASAP to run diagnostics. They quoted me and I’ll be back in a couple days ready to go. They’re so nice and willing to help, I brought my husbands truck in to… be looked at and without hesitation they took it for a test drive to see what it could be. Their shop finally made me feel at home, because my daddy spoiled me doing my mechanic services growing up with a shop like this! 10/10

Called Danny ray told him I was out of town and my daughters Jeep was acting weird, he said send her by fixed it and said I could pay him once I got back in town. The staff are excellent.
