Family owned and operated since 1974. Dan has been in the automotive business since he was a teenager working at his uncle's shop in Massachusetts. He relocated to Florida in the 1980's and worked for Bridgestone/Firestone for 25 years. Dan worked with customers, employees as well as all vendors and advertisers in the industry while with Bridgestone/Firestone.
Immediately when I walked in I was met with someone courteous at the front desk. I know a bit about what I need to hear from a mechanic to be reassured he is honest. They checked my transmission fluid level on a sealed unit for my tundra and he was honest and said the level was good and then gave me honest opinions about other stuff I needed done that I myself already knew about.

Hello people that need some quality mechanic work done but are trying to find someone to trust and are reasonably priced. I am a mechanic myself but didn't have the tools to do it myself. I needed suspension, transmission and A/C work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm old school with values and morals and it's hard nowadays to find that in anyone, especially a mechanic. Let me tell you, Dan the owner is the man. I had 7000k worth of work done and my Jeep is as it was 40,000k new. Dan and his wife treat you with respect and if you do the same, everyone wins. Dan and team at USA Transmissions put an aftermarket 5 spd transmission in my classic car. They are great to work with, deliver on commitments and are very fairly priced. I have sent several friends to them and all have had similar experiences. Would highly recommend.

After reading the great reviews I decided to give this place a try. I spoke with Kim who got me in right away. Dan was honest and fair. Instead of charging me for a new shifter, he made a clip and it's been working great. There was also another problem with a tire sensor that I never mentioned but it appears to be fixed. I will be recommending this place and bringing my car for all my general maintenance. Friendly, honest and fair!!

I've been using USA Transmission for many years now. I've had transmissions done on several vehicles none of them have ever been any problems after Dan and his crew got done with them. I refer people there all the time and all of them have been very happy with this shop. Most recently, I took my 2010 Ram 1500 in for a grinding sound coming from the rear end, his mechanic Eddie went on an extensive test ride with me to verify the noise and we both agreed that it could be the U-joints but at 183,000 miles it could be anything. Dan called me later that day and explained that the rear axle

If you are new to town or just looking for an honest and reputable mechanic, I highly recommend giving Dan a shot. As a female I greatly appreciate that he doesn't use high pressure sales taticts and try to upsell unnecessary parts or services. His wife Kim is the office manager , so I know I will always receive stellar customer service and can feel comfortable as a female, unfamilar with repairs.
I really love that his shop is NAPPA Certified so if anything should happen to my vehicle while I'm traveling , I can also take it to any NAPPA auto Care center in the u.s and they will honor
