I picked this place just off the internet. It was a blessing. Im from out of state and it is always hard to find a professional HONEST place to do car repairs. There is so many ways to scam a customer in this department. The guys here were friendly from my 1st step inside. I know my way around a car and problems and knew from the start they were honest. The parts were fair price. The labor price is a shock, since I'm from the North in a small country town. However it is the fair market price in this area. I don't mind paying the price if it is the right thing wrong with it and it is fixed the first

We have been searching for a good, honest mechanic for a long time. Bill, the owner at Milex, is the best. We have replaced the transmissions in two of our vehicles. He has never tried to "upsell" anything to us. The service is tops. The people are friendly. This is the best full-service auto repair shop anywhere in the SRQ/Bradenton area.

This was the first time in my life I left a mechanics office and felt great about my experience. Charles communicated with me regularly letting me know about anything extra we needed to do with a transmission swap. He always had an exact number for me of how much it would cost instead of a ballpark number. They did a fantastic job and my car runs and drives better than ever. Ill definitely be going back and recommending anyone that needs a mechanic.

I brought my car to Mr. Transmission for the first time about two years ago...since then I've been in a few times for some large repairs and small ones as well...I can't imagine taking my car elsewhere....these people truly care and I always feel more than satisfied with their work. They pay attention to small details with their work and customer service. Highly reccomend!!!

I needed engine and transmission mounts. I called Milex. They said drop it off and they would look at it. I dropped it right off. They called me in an hour with a solution, estimate and completion time. Then they surprised me by having the car done the following day. I wasn't expecting to hear back from them until Monday or Tuesday. They have great customer service. Car runs like a charm. I'm super happy with my experience with them.

I had a minor transmission issue that I took to them to diagnose. They told me that it was most likely A and B. The price was reasonable so I gave them the go ahead. When I came back to pick up the car, they said it was just A so the bill was substantially less. They could have said it was B as well and charged me for it but they were very honest and easy to work with. And they don't just do transmission work. They are officially my new mechanics. I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased. This business had previously been where Fred Glass had his Factory Tire and repair shop for 30 years. New owners are Bill and Sheri Granger. There was an error on their part in scheduling, yet they apologized, checked my brakes, fluid and rotated tires for no charge. I will go back.
