How do you choose the right Martial Arts school for you? There are often many schools and instructors to choose from. Here are some general guidelines that may be helpful in choosing your school. 1. Check your telephone directory or search on-line to see what kinds of martial art schools are listed within a reasonable distance from you.
How much does it cost? We usually suggest you try our introductory offer for $18, which includes 3 group classes and a uniform. After that, pricing depends on what type of plan you choose. What type of payment options do I have? We offer month-to-month, 6 month and yearly programs.
We accept cash, checks, money orders and we also offer an "EasyPay" payment plan that automatically deducts your monthly fee from your savings, credit card, or checking account.Do I need to be physically fit or need much coordination? You do not need to have an athletic background to join Karate. You will start your training at beginners level and progress from there.

Modern Arnis incorporates the use of single stick, double stick, knife and empty hand techniques. The Art of Modern Arnis was created from elements of both Filipino and non-Filipino fighting styles. Modern Arnis can be learned as its own style or can be easily incorporated into other martial arts styles.
Cromwell Martial Arts offers a weapons program consisting of forms and practice drills involving Bo Staff, Sai, Kama, Broadsword, Bokken, Nunchaku, and Arnis. The entire weapons program is currently only taught in private lessons although some forms are taught at advanced levels in the Kenpo curriculum.

I’ve been training with Sensei for a collective 6 years. Having completed my Black Belt in Kobujutsu, I can say Sensei Frank Shekosky trains with outstanding professionalism. Cromwell Martial Arts has a fantastic program led by some truly talented athletes. We have known and worked with Sensei Frank Shekosky for more than a decade now. He is one of the very few martial arts instructors with a lifetime of experience traveling the all over to both learn from and teach others. Just like any Black Belt would instinctively, in March 2020 he adapted his program to allow for families to continue their training from the comfort of their own homes through Zoom. This not only kept all of his students motivated and making progress towards their own goals, It has also provided a platform for him to teach students anywhere using technology.
