ABS students have been accepted by some of the nation's leading professional training centers and college dance programs. Services
The goal of ABS is to provide quality training introducing ALL students to the beauty and discipline of true classical ballet in a positive environment where students will be motivated and talent will be nurtured. A carefully planned syllabus takes students systematically from the beginning to a pre-professional level.
Jazz dance has many different styles including; hip-hop, lyrical jazz, funk/street jazz, classical jazz and theater jazz. These and other popular styles of jazz can be seen in music videos, variety shows and musicals. Jazz dance is most typically performed to various types of pop music, as opposed to the classical music more generally associated with ballet.
From a very early age, children respond to music with movement. And our early childhood program is just what the younger child needs. First of all, it's fun! It's also appropriate for the physical, cognitive and social development of the younger child. Here are just a few of the many benefits of creative dance and pre-ballet.

My daughter has attended Adamson Ballet for almost five years now and she loves it.
The facility is well kept and clean - located in a shopping strip off of Mason rd. It's not a very big space, but good enough for the students and waiting parents.
The front staff is very kind - they have worked with me in terms of financial situations and have always welcomed my daughter regardless.
Mrs. Hitt has been my daughter's teacher since she first started and my daughter admires Mrs. Hitt very much. She refuses to go to any other dance school or teacher because she has so much love and

Very disappointed in this place. I knew my daughter (3yo) would be difficult to join class because she stays at home with me and has never done daycare. I knew she would cry. The lady at the front desk told me "it's ok, they deal with that all the time. The instructor is the best at dealing with children. They all cry, but she is very good and will handle it"

I danced at Adamson for nearly 13 years and it is one of my fondest experiences from my childhood. I love the Adamson family and their fabulous teachers. They are amazing people, offering the highest quality of dance education, and I am proud to say I danced with them. The Adamsons were always extremely supportive of me and my abilities, and my dance classes there saw me through some tough times. I cherish memories of my time there.

I've been a jazz student at Adamson's from age 7 to 18. Adamson Ballet School is a great studio with fantastic students and instructors. Mrs. Adamson and Mrs. Chambers in particular have been my teachers for several years and I'm so happy to have been under their guidance in my time at Adamson's. I'm going to miss the studio and all of the people that I've met when I leave for college, and I definitely recommend attending Adamson Ballet School.

After going here for 12 years I can confidently say that the Adamson Ballet School has perfected the perfect blend of a positive learning environment and one that pushes the dancer to her potential. Every instructor is incredible at their job and have impacted me in many ways. This is the place in Katy to go for an incredible studio experience!

I danced at ABS from ages 3-15. I have nothing but loving memories from my classes with Ms. Misty Shed & Mrs. Adamson. They made me feel like I could be a beautiful dancer, even in weeks when I struggled. I enjoyed it so much and learned a ton! It was an organized and welcoming environment for children and parents with amazing recitals every spring. I would easily enroll my own future children here.

My daughters, Natalie and Victoria both were students at Adamson's Ballet school for a total of 21 years combined. They both loved classes with Mr and Mrs Adamson, Ms Shed and Mr Darrell. They ran a very organized studio and recitals were always punctual on starting, and dances left you wanting more.
All of the teachers treated the girls like… family and taught them grace, poise and the art of ballet and jazz. I cannot say enough on how thankful I am for their dedication to their craft and passion for dance.

Our daughters all dance here and we have been customers for eleven years. They have a dedicated and professional staff and our girls adore it there. They are very reasonable with tuition and I actually only pay $10 more per class then I paid when I was a child in the 80's! No contract- no auto debit- very low annual family registration fee of $15 dollars and you can quit any time without penalty if your kids decide they don't like it. Classes here are in very high demand so it can be hard to get a class and they have to limit the tickets each family can purchase at recital so everyone

I grew up at Adamson's and when I had a daughter I knew exactly where she was going to study ballet. My daughter is getting excellent training in a positive environment. In just a few years she has blossomed into a wonderful, knowledgeable dancer and her love of dancing has grown. I am very excited to see how she will continue to develop with the Adamson's guidance.
