Brandon started creating art when he was very young, he always enjoyed drawing and being creative, but it wasn't until high school that he started taking art seriously. An Art Award was given to one student in his high school graduating class and Brandon received that award in 1998. He then went on to art school to study graphic design.
Here at Red Hot Tattoo, we go above and beyond in every possible way. Whether it be our spectacular dcor and studio aesthetic, or your tattoo drawing, we hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards possible. Every artist has his own unique style, but shares the common goal of giving you a better experience than you ever thought possible.
We are a custom tattoo shop. We specialize in creating a one of a kind designs for you. That means we have no pre-made designs to choose from and our walls are not filled with generic tattoo designs that you can pick and stick. We have lots of beautiful original artworks on the walls, meant. The entire shop has been gutted and rebuilt from the ground up.

OK so I just recently got a tattoo by Brandon the owner. He. Is. Awesome!!! I'll drop a pic with this review. I told him WHAT I wanted and gave him the artistic freedom to do it HOW he wanted. I wanted four roses,, 1 rosebud, and books. I only sat for about 2 hours for linework but it's absolutely beautiful! Great conversation, really amazing person and he does beautiful work. I honestly can not wait to go back for the color. I will be getting all my tattoos done by him from now on. So thank you!!

Hunted around for a while to find a shop with availability and someone I clicked well with. Brandon absolutely crushed it in all categories. I've only had some other small tattoos and he was extremely helpful and communicative. On top of all that, his work was dialed, he cared about what he was doing, and listened to my opinion! Got some tattoos here a few weeks ago. The vintage style of the shop interior is awesome and super comfortable. Brandon, the owner, is amazing! He went above and beyond to make myself and my guest comfortable during the whole experience. His tattoo work is exemplary! I brought him the images of the tattoos I wanted and he executed them perfectly! I will definitely be back. Could not reccommend higher.

Brandon is by far the best tattoo artist my husband and I have had do work on us. He is patient, kind, great sense of humor, dedicated, and immensely talented. His amazing mind enables him to come up with detailed, creative and beautiful designs, which he's able to translate to the skin in a smooth and efficient manner, as painlessly as possible. His prices are more than fair, and his shop is gorgeous and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who's looking to acquire their first--or fiftieth--tattoo.

The owner Brandon was amazing. He is everything one would look for in a tattoo artist. He was super clean and we felt super comfortable being there during covid.
No pressure to get something we didn’t want. He made sure we picked out what we truly wanted the tattoo to look like without rushing. The line work on the lettering is thin and smooth looking super fine🖤🖤. I will for sure be driving back down to Cali to see him again.

My wife made a appointment at this amazing tattoo establishment and the shop was very relaxing and clean and i love the fact that due to Covid restrictions we were the only ones inside
:-) felt VIP... so my wife wanted a hand tattoo to pay homage to her mom that recently passed and we chose this place because all the positive reviews we read from everyone else and especially because it’s a small hand tattoo and we really didn’t want to trust anyone else that had no small detail tattoo experience, and let me tell you the tattoo was amazing and Brandon was so awesome too he was very professional

Brandon the owner is one of the most talented tattoo artist around town. He's been patient and open to any ideas I have. Usually it can be very easy to feel uncomfortable at tattoo shops but not here. He'll make you feel right at home. Can't thank Brandon for all the great work he's done. I recently had a cover-up done at Red Hot by Brandon and I couldn't be happier with the piece that he designed for me. I had a completely blown out tattoo on my hip and had really been struggling with the thought of covering it up because I was afraid I would make it worse. I didn't think I would ever get a tattoo again after that but Brandon reassured me that he could fix it and he really did a great job. I was regularly client for this store before 5 year ago! And after Joe moved to San Diego. I didn't know any new tattoo artist. And one day I just stopped by and met Matt artist!
He did such a great job on my arm two tattoos! He was very detailed...which I didn't expect!

AHHH! It's so different watching someone get a tattoo done in real life versus watching tv shows! My friend wanted to get a small heart on her wrist and I had to tag along! I've always wanted to watch it get done in real life because I was into those tattoo war tv shows and they were always so interesting to me. Brandon was awesome! He was very thorough and explained the process and how to clean afterwards, even though my friend has 3 other tattoos. He was careful with all the tools he used and genuinely cared about us.
