Services
Intuit Dance! is a proud member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and the Illinois Dance Education Organization (ILDEO). NDEO supports the highest standards in dance education aimed at developing the knowledge and skills required to create, perform and understand movement as a means of artistic communication.
Our Recreation Division invites students aged Pre-K through 18 years to explore a range of movement and dance styles through skill development, technique, improvisation, choreography and performance. Students learn to express ideas, sensations and emotions through the body by working with energy, space and time.
Our Pre-Professional Division invites students aged Kindergarten through 18 years to develop skills through a curriculum that emphasizes technique, dance creation, performance and the more advanced elements of reflection, assessment and critique. Involvement with Intuit's professional company - ChoreoSpace - is available to students by invitation and audition.
Our Adult Division invites students over 18 years to classes spanning a range of dance styles and levels. Whether you are discovering dance for the first time or have studied for years, Intuit Dance welcomes you to challenge yourself, to develop your skills and technique and to explore the pure enjoyment of movement.
Bare feet are preferred until the second semester of Ballet II; subsequent classes require split-soled canvas ballet shoes (pink or black), or satin pink pointe shoes. Children need to feel their whole foot on the ground for proper body alignment that is why INTUIT waits to place children in shoes.

My daughter and son have been at INTUIT for the past 9 years and really enjoy dancing there. The director Diane and the instructors are all high-caliber and enthusiastic. Diane is committed and caring, and I know she has helped many students with financial limitations find ways to continue studying.

The studio has a wide range of classes and several performances throughout the year. My friends and family always love the shows-- so many different dance styles, so many ages dancing (including adults like me), and never a 3-hour marathon. And Diane always keeps it fresh with new artistic concepts

My daughter takes the 3 year old dance movement class on Saturday mornings at the Harrison street location. She loves it! She can't wait to go to class every week. As soon as we get home she's practicing her new moves. Mariannell has great rapport with the kids.

My son dances and really loves this place. We have taken clases at the Oak Park and the Forest Park locationl. The owner is accommodating and always asking what types of classes our children would be interested in. I love that there are class options 7 days a week with a variety of teachers. This is a great place to learn to dance that is not pretentious or stuffy - it makes kids really fall in love with movement.

Saw the Nutty Nutcracker this weekend and you've done a marvelous job with those kids. I'm so thrilled for you that in these short years you have built the studio from nothing into something quite amazing and wonderful! Good for you!
Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show! My favorite part was you putting the mittens on "Arabian" - still laughing!

My 3 year old son loves the school. It's the first organized activity that he has requested to go back to every week. It's also great in the winter since they seem to burn a ton of energy in the class. Location is great--I can shop around while he is in class.

This newish dance studio is a nice addition to the artsy atmosphere on Harrison Street. If you want traditional ballet or jazz, head over to the Academy of Movement and Music, this has a more "alternative" feel to it. My daughter takes a Jazz/Hip-Hop class that she really enjoys. I was a ballet girl, so I feel like her instruction is better preparation for the high school drill team than the concert stage, but that is just me being an old fuddy-duddy. You can drop in and pay for one class, or sign up for a series. A nice variety of classes for children, teens and adults -- In addition
