Services
In addition to 24+ years of sewing experience I had the amazing opportunity to take training under Joe Vecchiarelli. The talented Fashion Designer and Master Seamstress behind the famous DANCING WITH THE STARS dance competition. Under his teaching, I have learned to drape body forms and create my own patterns custom made to the customers specifications.
Vintage and historical clothing replication are my particular passion aside from altering wedding dresses and formal wear. I also offer a broad range of other services listed below. Please be aware however that the most affordable thing I do is repairs and Alterations. If you wish to have a custom fit garment or wedding dress, it will cost more.
Here you will find many before and after pictures of my work and also some custom made garments. From the pictures below you will see a variety of fit issues resolved with anywhere form simple to complex sewing techniques. With seamstressing there are many tricks to the trade to get that dress to fit!

I brought 5 pairs of jeans to The Stitch It Post. 3 pairs to hem and 2 pairs to repair. They did an excellent job on all my jeans! 1 of my repairs was very torn and tattered. They fixed them nicely. The Stitch It Post is very fairly priced too. I brought the jeans in on Friday and they were done on Tuesday. Super fast! I highly recommend The Stitch It Post to anyone!!
