My name is John Nolan and I'm certified in music education and have taught guitar for over twenty years. I teach guitar and beginner piano lessons to adults and children. With the children, I use puppets, miniatures, animals and objects, games, movement and percussion instruments. I teach children starting as young as 3 or 4.

Guitar and Piano lessons for children & Adults are great fun and family time together doing music. For guitar, you will learn the parts of the guitar, seating position, tuning, correct right and left hand positions, musical notation, note reading, chords, arpeggios, legatos, scales and how to strum or play your favorite song.

John is a great teacher who is very passionate in teaching guitar. He is very kid friendly and patient with the children. He makes sure that they understand the lessons thoroughly at each step and encourages them to practice and achieve perfection. We are very pleased with the progress our son is making in just 3 weeks.

Mr nolan is a kind, smart, talented teacher!
I have been taking lessons with him from age 12 to 20 and never once was I disappointed.
He teaches the learner note reading, tempo, music theory, and so much more.
He is determined to make his students happy and proud.
He is opened to any type of genre the student enjoys such as Classical pieces, spanish guitar, and or heavy metal. What ever makes the student happy.
He encourages his students to never give up and enjoy their music/music playing.

I needed a teacher who was patient and wants to teach. Mr Nolan is that person. His love of music is passed on through you. He has a desire to see you succeed. He will adjust his teaching to your capacity of learning. Whether it's for relaxation or professional performance Mr Nolan is the right one for the job.
