Got off on the wrong foot with a scheduling mishap. Raman and Nika was very professional and did a great job mounting the 2 TVs and hiding of the wires within the walls. Will need to mount the entertainment shelf once it arrives, and will definitely be using DTV installations again. Even with the initial mishap, I feel that this company deserves the 5 stars.

This is the second installation I do with DTV , they are always willing to work with you and anticipate things you haven’t considered on your project. They make sure you are i agreement with the installation and show up on time the day of the installation, they are very conscious about not dirtying your home and clean up all after installation. Absolutely terrible experience. One of the least professional companies I have ever dealt with.
Nothing was installed properly. Light switches, projector, projector screen, doorbell intercom system; everything was screwed up.
The kicker was they got plaster on the projector screen during the installation. Have not repaired or replaced it.
Stopped responding to emails and the job wasn't even finished. Unbelievable.
I would not recommend these guys for anything.

Second time using DTV Installations. First time, they installed our home theater. We moved, and they re-installed everything. Crew did a great job with installing, mounting, hiding wires, cleaning, and making sure everything worked. Sean was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Will only use DTV Installations for any future needs. Thank you again!

The technician was prompt and efficient. I had no cable . I had an old TiVo box which he immediately recognized as broken. He explained everything he was doing And replaced the TiVo box with a new one. However we were not able to verify that my problem was solved because my cable company was unavailable to help us. Today my cable company turned on my service and I can finally thank DTV. My technician took off his shoes , wore gloves and a mask the whole time he was in my house. This is an indication of how this company respects its clients. I would highly recommend DTV.

I can't express how happy I am with not only the products, but the incredible service they provided. I was in a time crunch to have a projector and audio equipment installed before thanks giving... Dan and Daniel showed up on time and did an incredible install. Good service is hard to find, they were the 3rd different 4-5 star company I called, the prior 2 that arrived at my house did not have the right tools and one came solo, tough to hang a 65 inch tv by yourself. None of the others displayed confidence they could hang the tv on a very thin (2 inches thick) plaster wall. The others wanted to go fully through the wall to anchor and hide the anchors that would be in my bedroom with a mirror. One of the 'other' guy's first drill hole went through the wall completely so

Let me first start off by saying "wow!" From the moment the two workers (Dan and Dan) walked into the house they were extremely friendly and professional. We contracted DTV to install three televisions and shelving. We were on the fence about having the fourth mounted, but by the completion of the first one our mind was made up that we wanted to go through with the installation of the fourth. I have been a customer of DTV for almost 2 years. They have installed and mounted two TVs, have hooked up all of my components and have concealed all of my equipment. They are efficient, organized and have left my home exceptionally clean and orderly after every job.
You are able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame and they arrive within that time frame. Most importantly they don't pressure you, give you sound advice / options and are patient in their explanations. Highly professional and quality workmanship.

I did a gut renovation of a townhouse in Brooklyn that took 10 months. DTV was present when the walls were open to run all the cable and wiring, came back a few months later to add all the components and came back again to meet the Verizon tech to make sure he did the job right! I have rarely worked with a contractor that I would recommend so strongly. Any audio visual or home automation or security jobs are totally in these guys' wheelhouse. They are fair, easy to get on the phone

I was amazed by the professionalism, response times and knowledge of the DTV team. I reached out to them and they came to my apartment to do a consultation, then they prepared an estimate and were very patient with multiple change requests on our end. When we finally settled on the project scope they conducted the installation on a timely and efficient way, completing the project very close to budget and on time. I highly recommend DTV. I found DTV on angies list. They had great reviews and I wanted someone good to install an outdoor Skyvue TV for me. John from DTV was super responsive and made me feel very comfortable from the start. Scheduling and installation went very smooth. The prep work and clean up were great. I also had them provide and program universal remotes for me. Even after installation they were quick to respond to any questions I had. They were a true pleasure to deal with and I will absolutely work with them on future home theater needs. You can't go wrong with DTV.

These guys are the best! I called today and spoke to John, the owner. I told him that I am moving from my apartment on Monday and really needed my TV mount removed today. He told me he would call me back after speaking to his technician. Sure enough I get a phone call back 10 minutes later setting up an appointment for an hour later!

Purchased my TV installation for a 40" Samsung through Amazon. The service was timely and professional. They provided their own wall mount for me even though I had one of my own. Also included an HDMI cable for me. Twas a a nice gesture.
I was a little apprehensive of them drilling so many holes because I was just expecting them to cover my cords instead of hiding them in the wall. But the installer mentioned they would be able to patch up the holes for me if my building super gave me any problems or extra fees. Not sure if this service was complimentary though.

I had great experience with DTV Installation. I had them install two plasmas for me, I only had one mount but they sold me another one. All the wiring was done great, hidden in the wall or behind the moldings. The also installed in-wall speakers and they did a good job, so I don't have to repaint the walls. They do over-the-weekend installations which is very convenient and also the contractor called me when he was on his way. They made sure mounts, tv and all the speakers work properly and cleaned after they were done. They were friendly and helped me hooking up all the additional hardware

Just had John and his crew do a third installation of a flat panel in our home and I couldn't recommend them more. Incredibly responsive and communicative in an age when that's rarely the case, DTV is thoroughly professional, know what they're doing (even making recommendations that may only benefit the consumer) and do a bang-up job. No need to search around -- DTV Installations will get the job done for a very reasonable price. Two remotes up!
