I hired TD Smart Homes services for a new house I’m building in Franklin Lakes, NJ. They installed all of the low voltage wiring for security cameras, speakers throughout the house, TV’s, WiFi and a few other systems. They also installed a home theater and smart lights throughout the house.
The work was done on time and on budget. I’ve worked with many various companies on this project and other projects and must say that the professionalism, responsiveness and workmanship of this company exceeded my expectations.

I installed the Nest thermostat myself and after speaking with Nest support it was determined it was not working properly. Nest agreed to send one of "their techs" to troubleshoot and fix the issue. The Nest tech spent 4 hours here taking apart all kinds of things and said he fixed the issue. The issue was not fixed. I decided to contact TD Smart Homes based on reviews and I am so happy I did. Daniel communicated with me by email first to understand my problem. He then scheduled an appointment and kept me up to date on his arrival time. Which was on time. Daniel was confident in what

Daniel is straight up and honest in his recommendations - actually talked me out of some higher priced security cameras. My house is almost 100 years old which can create issues for contractors but he installed multiple security cameras without issue. Also made sure the wiring was well hidden. Highly recommend these guys!

Excellent communication from the start. Extremely knowledgeable with NEST products. Great finished product and great prices. Once Daniel came he quickly was able to determine camera placement for the job. Completed in a timely manner and saved us money by determining more cost effective camera placement than agreed to on phone. Daniel fixed connectivity issues we had been having with our Nest thermostat for more than a year. He was extremely responsive, coming the same day we called. He also fixed a wiring issue we were having in another part of our house with a separate thermostat. I perviously hired someone installed the nest thermostat for me but there were wiring issues, the heat did not work. After read reviews from NEST.COM, I contact with TD Smart home. I spoke with Daniel who was very patient and responsive.He's very accommodating despite I changed schedule few times.
Daniel show up on time. He's very professional, knowledgeable, he helped me to changed all the bad wires . After he fixed the problem, he wrote me the detail steps what he did and leave me the thoughtful note in case anything happen again.

The team came to give me an estimate and describe the smart home concept to me along with their products. They were kind and very helpful. Two weeks later, the installation team came. The installation process was very clean and smooth and the team taught me how to use all of the start devices. (Quite a feat for an inept IT user.) I had a wonderful experience with Td Smart Homes and would recommend them wholeheartedly. I have a SMART HOME now! I would use these guys again and again.
