I can’t recommend this place enough! If you want your car fixed quickly and correctly, bring it here. I had to have my transmission rebuilt and a coolant leak repaired, and they fixed both issues extremely quickly. Rick is super friendly and knowledgeable, and Steven did a great job locating a coolant leak without charging me an arm & a leg. They went out of their way to help me and do it well, and I will absolutely be coming back with any further issues. Thank y’all!

Critical: Professionalism
Called them early in the morning needing a tune up for 1975 cadillac nothing crazy they said I could come by until I asked them if it's ok I had a classic car and as soon as I asked seemed like I was asking them to install a new engine in it it's not a model T or a yugo wouldn't recommend if you own a older car

While evacuated from New Orleans for Hurricane Ida, my car started having transmission problems. Stephen walked me through the process of repair with the warranty company and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. He was so nice and compassionate to my situation as well. I highly recommend this location. If you want your auto fixed right the first time take it to the 6th avenue location. If you are self diagnosing your vehicle, then you might want to fix it yourself, but if you want professional, experienced mechanics to diagnose and repair your vehicle this is the place to be. Rick, Steven, and Gus, shout out to you guys. Best customer service I have had from a business that has done work for me. I cannot recommend the guys at AAMCO enough. Over the last 3 months, my truck has been in and out of their shop (due to my truck’s issues, not AAMCO’s). Each time, they were honest, fair priced, and went above and beyond to find the issue and offer a solution - whether that meant fixing it themselves or pointing me to another shop that specialized in what I needed. Stephen, Gus, and the rest of the team took great care of us!
