When we started years ago, we were strictly a mobile tire shop, with a service truck to help out drivers in need, whether they were stuck on the shoulder, in their driveway or in a parking lot. In 2013, we opened a brick-and-mortar shop at 2224 3rd Ave South in Birmingham.but we still offer roadside assistance for drivers in need.

Carl and his team installed a new set of tires on my Tesla Model 3 that I ordered from TireRack. They took care to be sure to use the proper jack points and were able to get the work done quickly and completely. I will use their services again in the future.

AutoTread was hands down the best tire replacement experience I’ve ever had.
Walked outside yesterday to a completely flat tire and good way to go get it fixed - it was about time for some new ones anyway so… after some searching we found AutoTred in Birmingham. Rave reviews and ... they have a service where they come to you! It actually started as a mobile tire service years ago and they still offer it even now when they have a permanent spot downtown.
Called this morning and before noon, I had all new (4) tires and I didn’t miss any work or deal with trying to go get one tire

Very friendly, fast an excellent service. We were on our way out of town and had a flat tire. We had a 10 hour drive ahead of us. This was the 5th tire repair store we visited and all except this one had a minimum wait time of 2 hours. Auto Tread was a God send. The gentleman immediately fixed our tire and made sure we would have no issues on our long drive. We were so happy and thankful!

I may never take my car to get new tires ever again. AutoTread and Carl were recommended to me by a friend recently. And since our lives are sheer chaos, the thought of not having to go and wait or even drive to a tire place REALLY appealed to me. And honestly, it wasn't that much more expensive than going to one of those places.

Got new tires last week in Huntsville, and got my son to check his when we saw him Sunday. Two days later and he, his wife and two babies are ready for holiday travel on new tires from Carl Colvin at AutoTread. The work was done in 40 minutes and Dave was back at work. It takes a lot of good people to keep Birmingham rolling. Sounds like Carl Colvin and AutoTread can be counted on to get it done where tires are concerned. Thank you for taking care of my grandsons and their parents!

These people are amazing; real quality customer service. Anytime I need help with wheel/tire stuff - which is bound to happen I've learned getting around on Birmingham's roads- I come here, and am always met with honest pricing. I'm a full-time college student and work full time as well and they have been a big help multiple times on my budget.

Incredibly friendly, prompt, and thorough with expenses up front. My friend recommended AutoTread to me and I'm glad. I believe Latoya is the name of the receptionist; she went above and beyond to call me and communicate throughout the process. Their prices are to be expected, but not terrible, by any means. They also have a three year warranty on my tires, which is great.

Outstanding service and competitive pricing. I had a flat tire that couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. Within two and a half hours of me calling and explaining my issue, Carl had sourced a new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire for me, had it delivered to his shop and installed on my car. Best of all was that it was all covered under the road hazard warranty included with the new tires I had ordered through him the month before.
