I took my 2007 Ford F-150 in for a state inspection, plus some other repairs that were much needed, so I could register it in North Carolina since I recently moved from New York. The crew did a fantastic job of getting my truck fixed...hasn't run this good in months!! I'd highly recommend Roy's Automotive for all your auto repair needs!

I took my Chevy Astro in to be fixed they charged me $260 didn't do nothing gave me an estimate for $1,145 to change out a fuel pump. I called other mechanics that I trust they said the very most it would be would be $500. I recommend that nobody absolutely nobody has their car worked on. or not even worked on just looked at by this company they are rip-offs they will charge you way too much money for doing absolutely nothing

I needed a dependable mechanic to install a third-party trailer hitch on my new Volvo XC40, so I emailed a few options with favorable reviews. This was my first time visiting Roy's and I will 100% be back! I was extremely pleased with every single facet of my experience. There is such a high level of warmth and professionalism! I would give 100 stars if I could ! My husband and I haven't lived in the area for long so finding a good mechanic shop that's trust worthy and that won't break the bank was proving to be very difficult. My husband stumbled upon their website on google and it was our last chance to get something within our budget. They went above and beyond to take care of us. They relayed the information and explained in detail what was wrong before fixing it so that we understood everything every step of the way. I decided to make the transition from where I used to do business because there was a steady decline in how they treated my cars while they were in their care. I went to Roy's Automotive and was pleasantly surprised. They were very attentive and concerned, and polite. I took my old antique 1988 Chevy Celebrity in for an inspection, which I found out from them it didn't need since it was 30 yrs old. (The joke was on me if I had just looked at my renewal statement it clearly showed I didn't need an inspection), but from my oversight it was a positive thing as they made me aware of

First visit here was excellent. The mechanic adjusted a difficult part that had been bothering me for no charge!
Second visit, not so great. I was late for my oil change appointment, about 30 mins. I'm new to the area, and still getting used to drive times in Greensboro. I did apologize, but a two hour window had been held for me and really needed that oil change. The manager didn't want my business for the remaining time. I won't patronize a business that has their feelings hurt because someone with kids runs late.

I am new to the area and found Roy's through, you guessed it, Yelp. I had a suspicion that my front rotors were warped and they were.
The shop was one of the cleanest auto shops I have seen. Everything was professional and explained to me before any work was done.

Roy's automotive helped me out so much! I was in North Carolina working for hurricane Florence and my truck had an ignition coil go out and I needed my truck to drive 100 miles+ a day for work. My wife just started calling automotive shops in Greensboro because it was my next stop. Brian answered the phone and told her to tell me to come there and we would figure it out. He stayed late and helped to diagnose the problem and get it fixed in no time and had me back on the road. I don't know who the 31 people are that have this place 5 stars, but I have been robbed. Never in all my driving life have I paid $92 for an oil change, for an Altima for God's sake. So if you want to pay almost double the price you would normally pay, I wouldn't recommend these highway robbers, don't be fooled by the female owned propaganda.

Roy's automotive is SO impressive. The owner, Cynthia (yes! a woman!) is friendly, professional, and really goes the extra mile with the customers. The mechanics are great as well. I like their clean shirts with names embroidered.
Now, some might not think this next thing is a big deal, yet it makes such a difference! The customer waiting area is really inviting and comfortable. Everything is sparkling clean, Wi-Fi access, tv, a courtesy coffee bar, snack crackers and bottled water. There is even a small child area. I really appreciate this area. Great local business!!

I needed to get my annual car inspection, so I took it to Roy's as I recently moved within one mile of the shop. They got me in and out very quickly. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of their waiting area and felt very comfortable there. I will definitely take my car back for any future repairs.

We just moved to the area and were in need of a mechanic. Chose Roy's due to their great reviews online. Very happy that we did. We had a brake issue, very jittery stops despite getting new brake pads put on a few months ago. I purposely left this detail out when I told them of the jittery stops. Happy to say they diagnosed the problem being the rotors and more specifically just the front ones. Didn't try to get us to purchase anything we didn't need. They made customers for life today.

I have been a satisfied customer of Roy's Automotive for 25 years or more now - started out with them when they were located on Cornwallis Drive. They have done all types of work - major, minor, tires, oil changes, wipers, towing, etc. - and 2 major items for me over the last few months.
And I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of the work, or the reasonableness of the cost. That is difficult to say about any businees, nearly impossible to say abot the auot repair business. They are capable, and more importantly, they are honest.
