I am not a fan of going to the dentist whatsoever but since going is not an option for me, I am happy that I found Dr. Ghassemi at Summit Dental Care because now going to the dentist isn't so bad. I really appreciate how well they take care of me at Summit Dental. They call me to schedule my cleanings. The front staff is very nice and friendly and so are the Technicians. I broke my front tooth and needed it repaired ASAP. Found Summit Dental, they accepted my insurance so I made a same day appt. The staff was friendly and professional, they were observing very strict and practical Covid-19 safety measures. Took my temperature, supplied hand sanitizer, all the staff in masks. In the midst of a pandemic my husband needed to get a root canal done . He was in pain and his dentist referred him to go to Summit. They were extremely high. Taking extra money from people who need help. I was so disappointed. They quoted him 2500 for ONE TOOTH . And said he would pay between 800-900 dollar out of pocket WITH INSURANCE . We called another place and it was about 500 with insurance and ended up paying 100 dollars out of pocket.

First time I went to see Dr. Ghassemi, he told me I needed a crown because my fillings were cracked with signs of decay. The fillings were no more than 5 years old so I was surprised. He tried to get me scheduled for this procedure right then and there.
I got a second opinion and the other dentist said it was not decay, it was coffee staining. He said the filling cracks were likely surface level and we can monitor to see if they get worse.

About 10 or 11 years ago I had an accident that resulted in me chipping one of my front teeth. When I moved to Oakland, I needed to have it repaired and found Dr. Ghassemi's office near my house.

About a year or so of coming to this dental office, I got a call from one of their staff member saying that I missed a payment because my insurance didn't cover an "extra" cleaning that I received and that was also recommended.

Summit Dental is conveniently located, and they have a parking lot. Dr. Ghassemi is kind, professional, and skilled. Dr. Reddy provided a full wisdom teeth extraction, and it all went very well. I'd been dreading this for many years, and was happy to have it out of the way.
The staff in this office is where it really shines. They are caring and helpful. Every time I go here I feel happy to be greeted by smiling faces. Brittany calls me punctually to remind me of my upcoming appointments. Very happy with this dental office.

I’ve never been a fan of the dentists until now. At Dr.Ghassemi’s Office the staff is very helpful, accommodating, and overall enjoyable. I’m very glad to have found an office like this. I have since refered other family and friends and they too enjoy this Office. If you’re in need of a good dentist give this office a call you won’t regret it. Also let’s not forget they have specialists in house so there’s no need to travel elsewhere for other treatment. Definitely worth a visit.

I have been going to Dr. G’s for over 5 years and he’s always done a great job, I’ve even recommended him to numerous friends and family and they also have nothing but great things to say. His front desk staff is also phenomenal, always friendly and full of energy. The service was great, the staff is friendly and accommodating (shout out to Brittany, Michelle & Sonia), best experience I've ever had with and dental office. If you are in need of any dental procedures, I highly recommend Summit Dental. They have a great staff and really know what they're doing. Moving forward, this is "my dentist". I'm a client at Summit Dental Care. They do a really good job with my teeth, and have a range of excellent specialists available, in case you need gum work or a root canal.
Quite happy with Dr. Ghassemi's work. His office staff are very hard-working, efficient and well-organized. They've been tremendously helpful with insurance matters, such as pre-clearing coverage and supplying 'out-of-pocket' estimates in advance.

I have been looking for a good, honest dentist for years and I am so happy to have found Dr. Ghassemi and his staff. every time I go in they see me at scheduled time and I don't have to wait hours. everyone is very friendly and helpful. The minute you walk in, expect to throw down some money. My last dentist was on the Peninsula, and they only did what was needed, but I was immediately told I had to pay for X-rays if i wanted a basic cleaning. They tried to charge for other unnecessary services, as their business moto seems to be all about nickel and dimming and having you pay for one service and then tell you that you have no choice but to pay for other services, but no refunds for what you already paid if you want to decline!
Oh, and for some reason the prices are double for the same services as elsewhere.
